Hi, it’s because I already got one I’ve made this one (changed the eyes and replace the hair so it’s all custom), I’ll probably create a listing for it on ebay so happy bidding
I was wondering that a while back. My Woody’s quite and early version I think because he is taller than most TSC Woody’s, only he’s voice is slower when you pull his string even with new fresh batteries! My Jessie’s I got in Disney Store about a year and half ago. She’s strange too because her neck is a littler taller than most toy story collections, he fringe doesn’t droop straight down but comes down in a curl from the main more like the movie. Also her waist is a little thinner which make her look less fattish and more movie accurate so I’m pretty happy with Jessie! But still her smile is a bit off but hey, we can’t have everything!
But my vest on woody started to become a little worn with dust. So I poured a bowl of washing powder and liquid soap. Stirred it together and got a cloth. I carefully wiped Woody’s vest, trying not soak it completely so wiping it bit by bit, till it was clean but be sure to not soak the vest because it may damage the electrics inside. I left him to dry on his stand for about an hour outside. It worked well but the other problem I had with my vest was that the black cow spots began to wear and you could see tiny parts of the white underneath. so I just filled in the tiny dots with a black marker. Woody looks nice and clean now (hoping he’ll stay that way!!)
MY problem with Jessie is that the yellow material has got bits of fluff on it which cannot be wiped by a dry hand so I decided to damp it and wipe which did remove some the fluff but I tried to be careful to avoid the patterns because I thought they looked printed on their. So carefully with a small vacuum cleaner, I sucked the fluff right off of their, being careful to hold her arms in the process so they didn’t come flinging off!!!
But I think woodys shirt is polyester and Jessie’s silk. Personally I don’t know special methods of cleaning them but perhaps you could still try wiping them with a wet cloth maybe?? Sorry I couldn’t give better advice
All of mine still look mint since I keep them in a plastic storage bin in my closet until I have more space to display them… I do take them out and look at them every now and then the only problem I have is Buzz’s stickers keep peeling but Thinkway always sends me a set if I ask love the customer service from them.
I have these emma-in-candyland.deviantart.com … 4#/d38e1yj
they were Emma’s before she made another pair and I would like to sell them because I have Slink’s now if Emma doesn’t mind.
Because of my very hectic schedule, I won’t be putting them on eBay until probably the end of the month if you are interested
