We’ve run out of them over here in cold, old England. And because I know alot of you folks across the pond have ordered wave 3 from UK Amazon, and they shipped to America just fine, so I was wondering if Amazon could do the same for Twitch & Chunk but from USA to the UK?
^ It really depends I could not get wave 3 from Amazon UK I had to order from Firebox… Some people were able to order from Amazon US to Amazon UK but like I said it works for some and not for others weird I know.
hey guys whats the most accurate peas in a pod out there. im trying to get one. and also i live in the US and i wanted to know what site some US buyers had bought dolly, buttercup, and pricklepanst from. whats the cheapest anyway
i have seen people wanting a t-bone from small fry i had someone make me one here are some pics they took after they finished for me if you would like me to send you his shop and you can ask them to make you one i would gladly do it i told them i would help there business out there let me know PM me for the info (=
^^ Going to see small fry on Friday!! cant wait! The piece looks beautiful. I’m personally holding out for the Disney Store exclusive bunch of the small fry toys to hit stores.
I Gotta question to ask though, now seeing that a Toy Story Collection Trixie is way out of sight, Slink do you have any plans now to get designs for the company to make her? even though, because you say that the bigger the scale, the more expensive and Trixie is ginormous!! And also, if you don’t mind me asking, why was the company charging a lot for Robot when he’s quite small?
plus, even though this is so cheasy & off topic, snows on the ground in the uk, and it’s gotta be “bazillion degrees below, good thing Ken and barbie are wearing their 1982 bunch of weekend collection!”! Hehe
As great as it would be to have a solid, articulated Trixie, I’d be happy with a pre-posed, light-weight plastic Trixie as long as it was of a reasonable size.
Perhaps they could use the Mattel “Toy Story Collection” Trixie as the basis for a 3D scan and just up-scale it? Then again, I guess the tool/mould would still probably be a few thousand and that’s without any of the design work or the paint applications.
Does anyone know if Barbie from the Vacation set comes with the same shoes as the one from the Made For Each Other combo? Also, Emma, what did you do to customize Barbie’s belt?
I don’t have it, but I think it comes with white shoes instead of pink shoes like “Made for Each Other/Great Shape” Barbie.
Re: Trixie
@ Slink - Good to hear that you have “ideas for Trixie”.
I’m also hopeful that we’ll see more screen-accurate (or at least size and material accurate) “Toy Story” characters from either Thinkway or Disney Store.
I’d also like to let it be known, that I have access to a CNC machine. If someone else (i don’t have the time, skill, or patience) were to draw in 3-d modeling software, as Mr Spell, robot, Trixie, etc. I’d try to fabricate it, if successful, you’d obviously get a free creation…
^^ That’s great news Slink! Of course you cant promise anything but, still, Im very excited with that message. How does these CNC MAchines work exactly? Because by the sounds of it, buying one can help out with a lot of other characters for me.
Buying a CNC machine would cost you a great deal of money. Most likely, so would hiring someone to do a 3-D model of say, Trixie. CNC machine basically take 3-D images, write their own code and then can cut metal or plastic to desired shapes. The code writing alone to make a trixie would be over $1000 to have done by a professional, so, only hope for that is someone talented enough on here
Well, I think your best bet would to go for someone like Kyle. Thanks for the info on CNC machine, Slink. Sounds like a pretty awesome piece of machinery and as though it could make exact replicas from the movie. Although by the digits, it sounds pretty pricey!
Could it be possible to rip the 3D model for Trixie from the Toy Story 3 video game? Obviously it wouldn’t be as properly detailed as you’d want it to be, but it would be a nice starting point for alterations and would be a heck of a lot easier than building her from scratch.
Of course, I’m just assuming it would be possible to poke around the game’s files to begin with, let alone find a plugin that would let you open it in a meshing program…
