Toy Story Replicas (No trading-related posts please)

Coming out of lurk mode for the first time, but I would also be interested in a luxo ball depending on cost. Thanks!

I would also be interested in a Luxo Ball depending on cost… Would you be able to get any other items from the store?

No other items, just luxo balls, pm me, don’t want to hijack thread…i should have the price by tomorrow

You have my interest, as long as it’s a reasonable price for a ball and has the right texture.

I wanted to share pics of my incomplete Animal Lovin’ Ken- he needs his proper shoes and scarf. Buzz looks upset because Ken short changed him on cab fare - again.

I used to have a Great Shape Barbie, but I traded her to a friend of mine.

I still have the Wide Awake Stripes outfit though. It’s really soft and fuzzy and comfortable. Heck, I wish I could wear that robe myself

To answer the question of which Barbie could be used as Great Shape Barbie instead of the original one, basically you’ll need one with the 1977 Superstar head, which usually has blonde hair and blue eyes. You’ll need one with bangs. Here’s a bit of trivia- the original Great Shape Barbie was Not released with bangs. Personally, I’d choose a mid 1990s Barbie such as Pearl Beach Barbie - usually anything from that period that’s found loose (not in the packaging) is ideal because they can always be cleaned up and made presentable.

flickr.com/photos/dolls-vikk/4717360270/ is a pic of Peal Beach Barbie; I love this Flickr user because they’ve got several headsculpts photographed and anyone can go through and see which doll they’re looking for, and they’ll have the name of the doll they now need.

FYI, I’m not a big MIB person - I just can’t bear to see them imprisoned like that. Hence I try to get loose dolls and toys when possible, or sell and trade any MIB stuff I don’t want to open up.

Fee free to PM or email me with questions. -Omar

I’ve gotten way more responses than I thought. I will get as many balls as I can, and let everyone know what the price is when I know it. The person was checking the price for me today, but hasn’t got back to me. Just for the record, if this becomes something massive, once again, I’m not going to have enough boxes to ship to everyone. So included in shipping cost will be the box and shipping supplies that i may or may not need to buy. I assure you, you will get it at my cost though. I just don’t want to lose money on them. Also if this becomes a lot of shipping, please be patient, because I’m much more busy with work than I was with school and can’t make daily runs to post office.

If I have more interest than balls that I can obtain, I guess I will probably do, first come, first serve on my paypal, at this point is the only fair way to do it.

pics for reference:

Hmm, you know, I don’t remember them being this inaccurate. I might pass. For one, it seems out of scale just looking at that Jessie box, then again I guess it could be correct if we were going by the Luxo Jr short and the Luxo jr I have. I kinda thought the Toy story universe version was a bit larger though… More importantly the blue stripe seems too thin, which I could fix in theory, except the star too big. At that point I’m better off buying and painting a blank ball. Probably just as well if your getting more interest than expected though.

oh, its definately a bit undersized. It’s main selling point is its accurate and doesn’t look like a kick ball like the disney store version

It’s not 100% accurate. I like it with my collection, I’m sure some would rather have disney store or nothing. No hurt feelings either way, just an offer

Do you have a flickr account Slink? You have really cool items.

You know how 3 of us paid $50 for the luxo ball on eBay???..turns out they are $5 at the Pixar Store!

I’m being sent 10 of them, with 5 of them spoken for already.

I’m going to have you send me $15 USA/$20 international. Because they need to be shipped to my house, then to you, and I may need to buy boxes. If they end up being cheaper you will be refunded the difference. I don’t want to mess with a different price as a “gift” or “payment”. I will only accept it as a gift (unless you are international and UNABLE to send a gift). If you don’t trust me by now, then that is on you.

5 spots are open, first five to PM me will be added to the list.

I will also take a list of up to 10 more people “The next list”, in case I can end up getting more. I will not collect money now, not until I get the balls on hand. Upon receiving the balls, I will contact everyone of the list. If payment is not received within 3 days, you will lose your spot and the first person on “the next list” will get your spot. Sorry this is the only way to make it fair to everyone. My contact seems like a really good guy, so maybe I can get more balls out of him, so if you end up on the “next list” don’t despair, I’ll do my best to get you one

Hello everyone.

I’m looking to buy a peas in a pod to go with my ThinkWay collection, and was wondering, what size is the most accurate?

Also, not sure if this is the best place for it, but I thought I would post a pick of my cobbled-together 3 3/4 inch collection. The foundation is the Mattel Adult Collection from 2010, with a whole heap of other lines mixed in

Cool, which Bo Peep is that behind Buzz? is she in scale with the other Disney Store figures?

I have 2 Bo Peeps. Both are in scale with the 3 and 3/4 inch ‘Adult Collection’ from 2010.

The one of the left here is from Mattel and was (I think) part of the Toys R Us line in 2009. The one on the right is part of the Tomy Disney Magical Collection.

I’ve shown them with a few other figures for a size comparison. The woody here is about 4 inches tall, and Trixie is the in-scale version from the ‘Screen Scenes’ line.

(Sorry for the bad quality of the photos, but I’m relying on my phone at the moment, until my camera is fixed)

Thanks, I’m looking for a Bo peep for my half scale collection, hopefully the Disney Store will release one.
