Well, youd have to cut it really close to avoid the leftover white parts, but that runs the risk of screwing with the atitching.

Well from side they are approximately 6" tall, she probably forgot how she made it lol. Or she just can’t be bothered to make them anymore, you know, that’s the reason why I kinda give her name just to few of the collectionners, because she would be over work if everybody is asking her for toys. Now she just can’t be bothered or up the price for everybody in the aim of making profit lol, I SO understand her to be honest.
Anyway. This is too bad somehow.
I’m more concentrating on my cosplay than my collection so far tho, but well

Its kind of a bad reason to up prices if you ask me. The materials cant be that expensive. But anyway. no, i wouldnt bet on thinkway making pete. Now that we know zurg isnt thinkway, it seems even less likely.

well yeah she isnt a company, but what is she does she make them out of? It cant be all that expensive. My point is, the cost just seems a bit excessive sometimes to me. Some of them make more sense(like robot) but some of them just seem like they are over-priced
Also, if theres a new wave, i would think itd probably be near the supposed mae for tv films. Theres no push now.

I agree her stuff is over priced. I purchased a hockey puck from her…it’s good, but was also $75 plus shipping. However, I will say this. Although I did spend quite a bit of money on the troika and clown prototypes, and did spend a lot of time having them make adjustments and communicating and making sure that enough were made, etc…it would have been a totally different situation had I been making the item by hand myself. We all have lives, and at what point is your time more valuable than money?
It was easier for me, when I was in school, but now that I’m employed, my free time has diminished greatly. While it’s easy to say, who needs more than “x” amount of dollars profit, some things take several hours…is your time worth more than $10/hr to you? Sometimes, sometimes not, it all depends
Honestly the reason why I think her stuff is over-priced, isn’t the lack of effort, time, etc…its the lack of quality…and it’s not that they are bad, but its they are not perfect. And very rarely are you going high quality items from hand made means. The troikas and clown are both beautiful (the clown being more impressive) but even they have certain levels of imperfections.
I also had them made as part of a hobby, not my livelihood, once I had made my money back, plus enough to pay for the clown prototype, plus a little more, it was easy to just sell the clowns at cost. I also had a steady job at the time. When you’re counting on money for income, its a different ballgame.
As far as Thinkway goes, I think they are done. If they make anything, it will be because of a Toy Story 4 release (which may or may not happen). Personally, I know many will disagree, I’m not opposed. A fourth one would not ruin the perfection of the 3rd one for me…just like the new star wars movies don’t ruin the old ones for me. Each movie, stand alone, was awesome…and its refreshing to have good movies being released for a change.
My only fear is Toy Story 4 will introduce more new characters, that won’t be made by thinkway, making more holes, than filling holes in my collection.
However, if TS4 is like TS2, and they had a few characters (or maybe bring back old ones!!!) and thats it…we could have a wave of 2-3 new characters (maybe a villain and two new toys in bonnies room), trixie, chuckles (bonnies room would be featured I’m assuming)…and possibly any character they want to bring back…I think that situation would be pretty solid
On a side note, is the Zurg going to be a USA exclusive (like Hamm Bank)?
I’m debating about getting extras for people when I go to buy mine…it could sell out fast like Hamm, or eventually be clearanced. I’m also curious if it will sell out online which would be the only option outside of eBay for those of you overseas
Yeah i’m hoping for a TS4 just for having the old toys that we all need (zurg, stinky pete, trixie, mrs potato head, for ppl who dont own her) but i’m also scared that will introduce more toys and that will make a lack of toys in the collection xD!
I really wonder what kind of story they would come up with a TS4 tho… I mean, might be repetitive.?
Pixar has shown time and time again, they can come up with original stories with old characters. They have my trust until they come out with a bad movie…I wasnt a huge fan of Up or Cars, but I’d stop short of calling them “bad”.
Now Bambi 2, Lady and the Tramp 2, and all those awful sequels disney came out with in my early childhood, those are the sequels I dread, not Pixars
I have feeling Stinky Pete is the most Likely to NEVER get made…I could come up with a reason to introduce Zurg or even Bo Peep back into the story…haha…but not Pete

Also, I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up…but my disney store cast member told me they are doing a “reset” tomorrow, well probably tomorrow night for Monday. There is a box that says “Zurg” on it that is part of the release. This could be anything…a poster, a bag, another small zurg toy, anything…but it is possible that Zurg will be released in stores as early as tomorrow night or Monday. If so, it’s generally released online a week or two after the first ones appear in stores…

That can turn about 50,000 minor characters and suddenly make them relatively important
Plus pete was at an international airport with a girl last time we saw him…making his way all the way back to Al’s home turf would seem unlikely
