A while ago a good friend bought me a pink bear, so it was finally time to add the duck and doll to the collection. Doll and Duck are both a bit tall, but since there was no shot in the movie with anyone else, there is really no way to know how tall they should be. So I’m happy with them.
That’s probably the saddest thing I have read in a while.
Though, do yourself a favor, and instead of getting rid of them, box them up for now and stick them in an attic or garage. I am pushing 40, and to this day one of the biggest regrets of my life was getting rid of my Transformers and GI Joe figures when I decided I had “outgrown” them. I’m not saying keep them forever if you don’t want them, just don’t make any rash decisions that you might not realize you might later regret.
Agreed. I mean, if you need the space or the money, or have simply gotten bored of it, I could at least see where you’re coming from (sorta). But that reeks of “I’m too embarrassed, no one will take me seriously.”
Yea, before I got into Pixar, I used to have a Sulley piggie bank. I outgrew it and gave it away. When I started to like Pixar, I wished I had kept it.
That is brilliant so far, very well done. Great attention to detail!
Public announcement, I’m wrapping up my collection now and have bought almost every toy character that I can get so ow I’m just focusing on making a stinky Pete, chuckles ad mr spell. ow I have bought the 70s version of speak and spell as was thinking of moulding a sort of case that is the same shape as mr spell, almost like a shell that will fit around the speak n spell but change the dynamics to look like mr spell. Unfortunately this will change the scale of him as we’ll as the letter layout on the keypad but I am prepared to sacrifice that in an attempt to make a working electronic mr. Spell. What I’m basically asking is, does anyone have any ideas on what material I should use too create the outer shell, I’m trying to avoid clay seeing that I’d really prefer a plastic casing?
thank you. I just finished it. Although, due to limited detail of the back in the film, I feel that the horse has “dead eyes”. but what I can see, they are how the original eyes are. for now, all that needs to be done is sizing, and the shape of the doodle pad. I do plan on doing the front and alot of other paper props from toy story, but right now I need a break!
Yeah I noticed he went up about 5 dollars for th first 3 auctions, then made his jump up to 150 or whatever its at now. Shockingly, someone bought it for that much too. Im not sure if anybody remember the D23 exclusive woodys roundup woody figure from a few years back. He was made in decent numbers and if i remember right was only like 20 bucks at the show and can still be found for 30 or less pretty easily. I’d advise everyone to wait on this guy until after D23 has actually began and these start showing up from more than just the one guy.
