When first seeing TS2, I assumed that it was pre-existing, but I thought I heard somewhere afterward that it was original. I do know that in 3 all of the outfits (or most, anyway) were pre-existing.
Oh thanks! I’ll have to do some more searching on ebay now. I wonder if the other members got theirs on ebay as well? I know Wampar has a squeaky shark (that’s off scale, yet the only one I’ve ever heard of), but I didn’t know if anyone else has one.
ive just started to paint my wooden eggs and they seem to be coming out quite good. If I find a good shark for sale I will let you know but im sure someone has one but im not quite sure on the size of him I did look on ebay but couldn’t find anything that looks that much like him.
I’m pretty sure nobody’s posted anything on it, If there is somewhere, I missed it.
It’s missing the micro-Buzz and Woody figureines, so it was 20% off, and the last one in the store. Cost me $32 bucks. Yes, it’s a functioning Claw game but it’s got a few design flaws. The way it’s shaped, there is a bigger area for the Aliens to be in, then the Claw can get to. It also makes a “Rocket flying” noise whenever the claw moves, which is pretty annoying. Only 2 of the 8 aliens are painted, and they are also made of a rubbery material. Overall, it’s a cool toy, and makes a nice display. Would have been a lot better at closer to $25, but I am very happy I didn’t pay the $40 they wanted for it.
I figured this was the best place for it, since it really doesn’t qualify for it’s own thread, and it’s definently not a TSC. I technically is a replica… just a small scale one.
I just thought you guys might be interested in seeing The Claw. I’ll post more pictures of it out-of the box, and maybe a Comparison with Woody if anyone wants.
Yeah, that’s what the website told me, but it was listed at 40, but if the original price was $30, only having to kick in 3 extra bucks isn’t that bad. I’ve been thinking about making either a Pizza Planet backdrop, or some sort of Sid to play it.
My original animal lovin ken came. I had to rerplace his shoes with the new kens shoes because he didnt come with them. He also didnt have his monkey, but other than that, he is perfect!!!
Just got the Kelloggs LGM light. Isn’t that bad if you don’t mind it not being the same soft material as what the real deal would be, but it’s a pretty good sculpt with an accurate pose and size. And being too cheap to get the three-pack, it’s an alternative that works for me. Same goes for the Kelloggs Hamm, which isn’t quite the right length, but it’s still pretty close to movie.
I redeemed points for the alien myself. Thought it would be more worth it to do that than see TS3 again which is what I was planning on using the points for. I’m still waiting for the confirmation email…how long do those take? Its been 2 days now.
Are there any pics of him online? Ive only seen the version they have on the box and website, which obviously isn’t the real thing, just a render with a c able photoshoped on.
He’s a little shorter then the Disney Store Hamm, and with the loss of those few inches of length, his torso’s a little rounder, but I’m able to get past it.
