I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for some the little short cartoons airing later on?
All i heard is it takes place in between 2 and 3.
i’m really curious as to where this “between 2 and 3” rumour came from. i’d love this idea, as it would bring back some of the characters we loved who weren’t in the new movie, but i have yet to hear a credible source lol. anyone have one?
I have no idea what the short/s will be, but I would like to see a Toy Story short that shows Andy and Molly playing with their toys together.
With Toy Story 3, we skipped over the period of time when Andy would have still been young enough and Molly would have been old enough for them to play together. It would be great to see one of Andy’s adventures with the gang, but with Molly’s input as well. Would she be “in charge” of playing with Jessie? Would she insist on Bo Peep being a heroine instead of a damsel in distress? Would she cast Buzz as the “baddie” instead of Hamm or the Potato Heads?
Then again, maybe Molly was never interested in “playing” with her toys since it seems she never did really own Mrs Potato Head (even though it was a Christmas present for Molly) and her only left-over toy at the time of Toy Story 3 was Barbie (although that could just indicate she donated her toys prior to Toy Story 3).
I also wouldn’t mind seeing little “adventures” with the gang. Maybe a mission to retrieve spare batteries after Buzz’s batteries go flat? Maybe a mission to find Jessie’s hat after Andy loses it while playing outside? Etc.
Why limit to Andy? I’m totally curious as to how Bonnie plays with the gang

Seconded. If it doesn’t show life at Bonnie’s home, I will be sorely disappointed.
As a not-really-short within the same guise as “George And Aj” I’d really like to see Toy Story’s antics from the perspective of the humans.
It probably takes place after 3. Something that happens to the toys while Bonnie’s not around.
It would be awesome if we were told Bo Beep´s farewell, i would love to see Bo Beep and Woody say goodbye.

Or how about a backstory about Andy’s father, while we’re on the list of hopeful improbabilities?
I don’t mind if it’s between 2 and 3, or after 3. I’m just really looking forward to the shorts. 
What about shorts of the Sunnyside toys? they were pretty cool too
I don’t care what they’re about, though I’d like to see the old gang(the lost/sold toys) one last time.
I initially thought it’d be about Sunnyside, but Unkrich insisted that the whole crowd would be back.
Now, I don’t know about licensing when it comes to shorts, but I had a funny idea where Barbie dumps Ken and he gets so upset that that the other toys need to help and try and get them back together.
I dont know, do you think that can be done in 5 minutes in a short?
Bonnie has a strong connection to Sunnyside, so that shouldn’t be a problem. Again, the only thing I really want at this point is to see what happened to the old characters, which since there can’t be a short without the whole gang, the only possibility would be the obvious of them being donated/obtained by Bonnie.
I really hope the shorts take place at Bonnie’s house. I really want to see more of the new toys!
