Toy Story site gets an overhaul

pretty cool stuff so far.

I wonder if any of this is part of the new score?

The themes on the site are from the first two Toy Story movies. Although, I’m not sure about that moment right before “The Cleaner” plays. It could be new.

Anyway, it’s a nicely made site. It’s interesting to get a better look at some of the environments. Also, the “Explore Characters” button shows all of the dates of the new character reveals.

I love the new design for the site!

I can’t wait to see the other new characters when they come on. I actually think Mr. Pricklepants should have been one of the first ones revealed since Lee had already shown him in one of the previews.

I love the look of the new site. It helped me catch a little hidden reference in the movie.

If you go to the section about Andy on the site and you open the link for his drawings, you can see a sticker on his door that says “Newt Xing” with the silhouette of a newt. Just a little reference to one of Pixar’s upcoming films [spoil] I just thought that was an interesting little detail.[/spoil]

This is awesome!! I can’t wait for them to revel even more new characters!!

Hate to break to it ya, but Newt is dead.

But then why do they still have a reference to Newt?

Too late in production to remove it now?

Small Mailman: Nice find. This is actually a sign that Pixar put up on their property sometime last year ish. I don’t know if they’ll be keeping it up, though, since Newt is now canceled.

terribly disappointed that Newt is dead…it sounded cool (and definitely another fresh idea from Pixar) R.I.P.

Well…looks like we’ll be getting weekly character updates soon…

One thing I do notice though, is I anticipate that we’ll be having “multiple updates” at least one more time, as we had this morning w/ the Peas and Ken. (Yay!)

This is really exciting

Even though Newt is canceled, the sticker is still a reference to a sign put on PIxar’s property-here’s the link.

Even if Pixar did cancel Newt, what I want to know is why? You’d think they’d still have a whole couple years left before it’s release to get the story together. It’s not like Pixar to abandon a story idea that isn’t working right away.

Perhaps it’s just hitting a low point in the story production, just like Ratatouille faced. Disney hasn’t released an official notice yet, so there’s still hope.

The site looks great!
