I found the Battlesaurus Armor Buzz at TRU yesterday. They had lots of them. Don’t think I’m going to pick any of them or the Woodies up.
I might get woody after Christmas, when they’ll be desperate to get rid of all of them. I never had buzz, in any incarnation, so I guess it’ll stay that way.

I can’t wait! I’m sure it will be infinity and beyond better than Phantom Menace. God, that movie is terrible.
Decided I’ll only watch it if my family turns it on first. I’m not completely sure why, but I’m really unenthusiastic for this one. 
Not too overly excited for this. My excitement peaked from Toy Story 3. But i’m still looking forward to watching it. I’m gonna be at work, so i might have to watch it some other way.

Just saw the special! It was great! There were some funny moments, some heartwarming moments, and overall, just a great Christmas special. IMO This is better than Of Terror. The new characters were pretty cool. This really makes me want a TSC Trixie now and a full-size Reptilius.
Ah, excellent. Nothing as deep as the movies, but I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my 30 minutes. Lots of small great moments. My favorite probably has the be the gladiator scene. Toy Story isn’t usually known for its action scenes, but seeing Buzz and Woody fighting for their lives was actually pretty exciting. It was like a throwback to the gas station fight in the first movie, right down to the “Buzz-Buzz-Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!”
So now it’s aired. Pretty thoroughly PO’ed. Thinkway is a joke. I spent $115 on figures that don’t even appear in the special. Why not a Trixie? Why not a Reptillus? Nope. Just repackaged Buzz and Woody. Ball. Dropped.
Just saw the special and what can I say. Well…
[spoil]I agree with all the reviewers, the Battlesaurs are pretty violent for a bunch of action figures. Woody and Buzz’s fight with Reptillus was the most hilarious part of the special. I really enjoyed Reptillus’s character in the special and how he did not want to face reality despite being right in his face. The Cleric surprised me with his pair of wings and change of heart in the end. While we’ve all seen the toy doesn’t know he’s a toy formula, I still felt the emotional impact when Reptillus surrenders himself to be played with. Overall, I enjoyed the special and the new characters.[/spoil]
I hope we see more toons!
^Oh yeah! I was watching it with my mom and dad and when I heard “Buzz,Buzz,Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!” I was like “That sounds just like the 1995 Buzz!”. I’m pretty sure the sound effect is from the original Buzz. I was on the edge of my seat when Buzz and Woody were nearly thrown into the fan.
Yeah, that sucks. They didn’t even try with the line at all. I’d rather they would have skipped over creating a line like they did with Toy Story of Terror. At least Mattel made some figures.
Is there any word on when it’s going to reair?
And I don’t find it surprising that they’d make toys that weren’t in the special. Stuff like that happens fairly often.
