Does anyone know the amount of time and how old Andy is between each film? i tried narrowing it down but one little fact always made it not work. could someone help me figure it out?

I agree with those for the most part; Andy turns 6 in Toy Story (which is inferred to take place in 1995), and he’s about to turn 18 in Toy Story 3, which puts it almost exactly 12 years later.
Toy Story 2 is where things get kinda confusing. There have been official sources, but many are conflicting (especially since no script has surfaced online). Lee Unrich says he’s 10 in both of them, although since it’s fact that he’s 6 in Toy Story, I don’t think it’s that reliable. (if anything, he’d still be 6).
Another official source states that he’s 8 in Toy Story 2, but also says once that he’s that old in the original as well. My guess is that it’s a mistake and he’s 8 in TS2, since the information was coming directly from Pixar.
I know this is wrong, but I always thought of andy as around 10 in the first movie, then about 12 in the sequel. he just looks and acts 12 to me for some reason. and he doesnt’ look 6 at all in the first to me.
But I cant argue with official sources. Even John Morris tsaid recently that Andy was 6 in the first.
I doubt that Andy would be 12, if he was 12, well he would be on the computer and stuff, then again, they didn’t have the kind of computers nowdays…HMMMM…,
No, that’s just Kyle’s own opinions. If he were 12 by then, imagine how old Molly would be.

6 seems young for TS, especially with Potato Head’s “Woody’s been Andy’s favorite since Kindergarten”/ I figured it was Andy’s 8th birthday in TS, thus giving him two full years to play with Woody as his favorite, give or take, depending on when he started Kindergarten.
I figured around 11-12, and yes, he does act 12. I can’t place it, but something about his play scenarios shooting straight for the climax, and he seems a little rougher, making Buzz jump the ramp with RC.
He’s of course 18 or thereabout, since he’s graduated from high school.
Anyone note that all three films take place during the summer.

Well I remember I went to a site and someone asked why Mr. Pototo head said that if Andy’s 6. The other guy said that so it would seem long. If Mr. Pototo Head said " He’s been Andy’s favorite since last year.", It dosen’t seem that long.
