I have yet to notice a thread regarding reviews on the double feature, so I think here would be an appropriate place for us members to post em on as well as rate em on the above pole! I’ll post my review and vote here later today if not this week. In the meantime, you guys go ahead and get started! ^-^
Haha, I went with 8. I’d be a bit more careful about your ‘comments’ for the ratings though, 0 seems a bit,… extreme! Funny, sure, but extreme. Just a heads up.
I definitely had a great time, I’d recommend it. Especially for the TS3 trailer, that was the best part in my opinion, and the 3D was much better than I expected.
Probably more of a personal thing for me to give it that high of a score, but hey.
This Double Feature is really what I needed. I was beginning to forget how great these two movies were. I have TS1 on VHS, but I don’t really have a VHS player, and last time I saw TS2 I was 7-ish in a theater with friends and wasn’t paying much attention. It was almost surreal to come back to these films, 8 years later, and having such a great time, enjoying these films 2-3 times as much, being able to view them with a greater understanding of what’s going on. The 3-D was very nice, as well.
And holy cow, it was amazing. The effects were way better than I was expecting. Disney and Pixar did a top notch job bring the two movies back to the big screen in 3D. And I think this may of have been the first time I’ve seen a Pixar movie in the theaters. (Or movies in the case .)
I can see the few minor touch ups and needed improvements that were done. But they were done in such a way it didn’t take away from the experience any. And it’s surprising how well both movies have aged.
