Trip Report: Brad Bird at Wondercon in SF. NEW WITH PICTURES

Googly-Bear - The thing is, I would rate the film “PG” too if I knew

that there would be guns and shooting in it (and perhaps the occasional dead rat or two…).

Nother too

vulger I’m sure, but just enough adult humor and action “violence” will probably be in the film to

give it a “PG” rating. I love PG-rated films, because they are for kids…and yet they may also contain

some jokes that will go over the younger childrens’ heads. (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

Besides it?s a Brad

Bird film, and all his film so far that he has directed have been rated PG.

Edit: Here what happend at

Wondercon: jvpixarnews.blogspot.com/

JV - Wow – thanks for that, JV!

This part

absolutely cracked me up. It is featured at the end of the official trailer which will probably debut along with

Meet the Robinsons:

[spoil]"The clip ends with Remy waving

to a guy bicycling on the street, who becomes distracted and crashes into a parked

car."[/spoil]

Puh-ha! This is the kind of stuff my sister and I think up. Brilliant!

That article was

awesome! The old lady with a shotgun sounds so funny!

Mitch - Where

did you get that spoiler? I didn’t see it on the Rotten Tomatoes article.

Gasduude - Scroll up and you’ll see the link I gave.

oh, and I already feel bad

for Luingini, looks like Colette is going to be giving him the cold shoulder. XD

no videos to see???

I just got back

from Wondercon 2007, the most amazing experience I’ve ever had.

Highlights: Brad

Bird on Ratatouille and an opportunity to meet Hilary Swank (Million

Dollar Baby).

I will post within the next week (I have midterms this week, so it might be a while) with

pictures and my reaction to what Brad Bird said.
I took some video of Brad Bird, eventually it will be posted

on the original thread-starter.
I am going to try to change the thread title to Trip Report: Brad Bird at

Wondercon in San Francisco.
Hilary Swank is officially one of my new heroes.

TheIncredible- Wow, it

sounds like you had an amazing time! I can’t wait to see your photos!

Ooh! Your making me wish I was there

TheIncredible! :frowning:

So you got pictures and videos! :stuck_out_tongue: Awesome! :sunglasses:

gasp lucky!! you little sly thing you!! skipping

school for Pixar,

then again, there are priorities, and Pixar is waaaay above School!!

post as soon as possible!

LOL Googly-Bear. I wasn’t

really skipping school, I was skipping my film class. We don’t really do much in that class. I found out I do

more on my own at home making movies than in that class. But it’s a fun one, indeed.

Since I have

midterms this week, I won’t be able to post my thoughts, photos, videos from Wondercon until toward the end of

the week. I’ll keep you posted, though!

TheIncredible - Great! I can’t wait til you post some picture of Ratatouille at

WonderCon. BTW: Did you take a video camera? If so can you post some video of the Ratatouille WonderCon

whenever you can?

ward the end of the undertaking, Bird answered numerous

questions, unveiling various bits of info concerning The Incredibles 2 and Toy Story in IMAX 3D. It was also

announced that a new Ratatouille trailer, as described in the report,

should be supplied in the next few weeks. About his next project,

Bird admitted that the film will likely be live-action.

TheIncredible - Awesome! I’m glad you had a wonderful time at the 'Con. We

are all very anxious to see your pictures.

JV - Thank you for posting up

those pictures and information! And taking an excerpt from the quote:

Only ten times?

That’s pitiful. :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)

But yeah – thanks, as always, JV!

Any time!

Here another review concerning Ratatouille at the

Wonder-Con over at ComingSoon.net:

comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=19211

Nothing we haven’t heard before, with the

exception of “Remy’s adventures in the kitchen” part apparently altered to some degree.

I just added a few pictures of Wondercon, representative of the hour-long presentation from Brad Bird and Patton

Oswalt. Look in original post.

I took a few more, but they’re basically the same pictures, with different

expressions on their faces haha!

TheIncredible - Heheh – awesome! Thanks for posting up the pictures, dude!

Okay, I am really jealous now. Incredible pics. What more

can I say?
