Tron TV series; check it out

Here’s the trailer for a proposed Tron TV series.
I posted it in the Tron 3 Trailer thread, but it seems to be one of those dead threads (hey that rhymes.)
Anywayz, this is awesome. At leats the surrounding art is, but the close-ups are…eng.

Whoop if you like the last member of the cast

Hmm. I adore Tron, but I’m not to keen on the idea of a made-for-TV movie and a TV series, which in fairness I can’t see lasting very long.
I do however quite like the animation style, and I wonder whether Daft Punk will be scoring.

I love the animation too, and that cast is amazing for a Disney show. However, I’m iffy as to whether I’ll watch it.

Whoop! Bruce Boxleitner as Tron! 8D

I’m looking forward to this show… I’m hoping to see plenty of Tron and maybe a little of CLU and Flynn. I think there was a shot showing all three of them in there somewhere… :sunglasses:

I like Tron but I don’t know why their doing all this stuff with it all of a sudden. They wait almost 30 years for a sequel and their doing a lot.

Because they realized the dang thing had potential. Why couldn’t they just have done a remake instead?

i dont get it, why did they need to create a completely new character as a main character? they completely ignored tron in the movie and the game , this was their chance to make tron an interestign character again , but instead they are going to use a “new tron”

anyway, ill probably see this , the animaiton is great and it seems interesting

I know! The series is called “Tron”, and yet they hardly show him. He wasn’t even in the first film as much as I would have liked.

But hey, did anyone notice that Mandy Moore (aka Rapunzel) is in it? I wonder who she’ll be playing. :unamused:

Tron is just a cooler title than “Flynn”. Though I agree that Tron was underplayed in the sequel. I had to explain to my parents (who hadn’t seen the first one) that Bruce Boxleitner’s character is Tron’s real world counterpart, which they never even allude to in the new movie.
