I remember Bullseye! When i was younger, like around 10, i met him, jessie, and woody for the first time ever. My dad then went on to get me a personal signed picture of them from the old woodys roundup show the park used to put on.
Omar - You know what? That’s a pretty good possibility! As long the staff member for the characters can do their respective accents, the meet and greets could be of a talking, Disney Princess-esque style. Good share!
Omar- Wow. Yeah that would be really neat to see costumes like that in the Disney Parks.
The other day, I was looking at some pictures from when I was at Disneyland in 2005. There was a picture of my sister and I with Woody and he looked downright scary. I was 7 or 8 at the time, so Im surprised that 7 year old me didn`t run screaming.
Woody was the only TS character I met when I was there, sadly.
Costumed Disney characters scare me, though they apparently didn’t when I was very young. I think its the whole idea of being afraid of the unknown. When I was really small, I apparently loved it-
However for characters that are reasonably human- Buzz and Woody are human toy characters, whereas say Lenny or Etch are not human type characters. Does that make sense?
We’ve had various voice actors portray Woody and Buzz over time, so I don’t see it as a stretch to get the costumed staff at the parks to do an impression of Woody or Buzz, just as is done for Prince Charming, Cinderella, Snow White etc. -Omar
Buzz and Woody have really grown on me, I have to admit. I mean, these were the same costumes from 1995, so to me, its really taken on a classic look of its out. Besides, the inanimate faces are more believable as toys, though I think the Musical outfits are very well made as well.
Also, Mr. Potato Head and Bo Peep look amazing, the transition really worked.
does anyone else think that the parks costumes padded Jessie’s butt a bit? youtube.com/watch?v=Y47jlbQqV-8
It looks to me like they gave her some serious “junk in her trunk.”
Not that I… go around looking for that or anything
