Just got the ‘Toy Story’ and ‘Toy Story 2’, “OOOH…3-D” Japanese movie program at a movie theater today and there’s some cool stuff I got to share with everyone here. TS & TS2 in 3D started here in Japan, February 6th, 2010 and there doesn’t seem a limited show time like two weeks. disney.co.jp/movies/toystory/

Anyways, inside the movie program has stuff you can get from wikipedia, but here’s what is inside.

With ‘Toy Story 3’ shaping up to be another great
adventure for Buzz, Woody and the gang from Andy’s room,
we thought this would be the perfect way to let audiences
experience the first two films(‘Toy Story and ‘Toy Story 2’)
all over again. We resurrected all the data,
and it’s awesome to see how great these films look in 3D.
They’re amazing. There’s a new generation of kids that
has never seen either film on the big screen.
to see the movies back to back will be an amazing treat as well.
We’re so excited to be bringing these first two films back for
audiences to enjoy in a whole new way, thanks to the latest in 3D technology.

Wow, that’s some pretty cool information! I don’t think we’ve heard about this info on the boards before so it’s all new here. That’s great that the Japanese release of the double feature in 3D has some extra stuff with it, and without a limited showing time, too! Seems like Sid is more hairy than Andy then? :laughing: Thanks for sharing this, Rey.

Maybe, but is he as hairy as Al? :wink:

It’s interesting to hear how many leaves are around Andy’s house in the original film, cause in the Toy Story 2 commentary they say that they weren’t able to have moving leaves until after A Bug’s Life.

I assume Andy has less hair because his hair is longer. Sid needed more strands to avoid looking too bald because his hair was so short.
