I agree. my best bet is that the people who voted for Twilight were fangirls who’d never seen Toy Story 3, or any other Pixar film for that matter. And no, I’m not saying that anyone who likes Twilight or hates Pixar is stupid. An opinion is an opinion, and everyone has different tastes.
Then again, I haven’t actually seen or read any of the Twilight series, so I wouldn’t consider myself a hater. Still, alot of people hate the series so I might as well join that crowd.
pixarfan9099: They never have. They never will. I really hate most people here, because they don’t know what good taste is. Twilight over Inception? That’s just evil.
I actually think this is really funny, because I highly doubt that most normal people would have voted for Eclipse. After all, it’s the people’s choice awards!
Not that big of a deal to win at the People’s Choice Awards. I’m pretty sure the Twilight movies have zero Oscar nominations. But, there are two movies left to be released in the series, so they might surprise us and pull an amazing film out of nowhere.
If there was a way to actually survey every person who has seen one of these movies in America, I’m sure Inception would’ve won…which would have been better than nothing :
Although I am not so high on the People’s choice awards, despite me being disappointed that TS3 lost, I’m not so worried because I know TS3 will trump on the awards that really matter.
I hooe not. Any awards voted on by common(rather ignorant)individuals is not to be taken into account except by producers. Anyone looking for quality should pick another show.
I thought it was called the ‘People’s’ Choice Awards, not the ‘Mindless Trend’ Awards. But it just goes to show you that Hollywood doesn’t care about story, they care about money. And yes, we here live in the Twilight Zone…where good movies are critically panned, sparkly idiots rule the world, Einstein’s theory of relativity doesn’t apply or exist, and all sense of logic is dummed down for the ‘common man’.
