They do indeed woody. Thanks for watching and commenting.
No, I haven’t! Thanks for sharing them with us! I love the Yahoo ISP ad (running all the way to China faster than it takes to download on that super slow 56kbps connection back then! ) and the Edna Mode remote clip (“Darling… don’t do that.” ). Are the ‘fight for the remote’ clips available on the DVD, or were they unreleased?
Is it possible if you could upload the “Dash sitting in a classroom” easter egg and the comic style intro featurettes? Thanks, bud!
TSS: The Stronger video is really amazing! Love Brad Bird’s intro! Great timing as always. Fits with the music really well. Wonderful choice of clips. I really enjoyed how you put behind the scenes clips in there! They added something really nice to the video. Nice, tight editing. Keep it up!!
The collection of clips was pretty cool too! I had only scene a couple of them, so thanks for sharing!
TDIT: Only 2 “Battle for the Remote” clips are on the 2nd disc of the DVD: One with Bob and Dash, and Bob and Lucius. I found the Helen, Edna, and Violet ones on a British video hosting website.
As for the featurettes, there were a total of three of them released before the movie came out. I found the comic style one off of IGN.com. But if you want to view them yourself, here are the links. You might need to download them yourself. (I found them off of RottenTomatoes)

I could put the Dash in the Classroom easter egg up, but I can tell you where to find it if ou have the second disc.
Hannahmation: I loved reading your post. Thank you for the comments.
Haha, those were funny! No, I haven’t seen those before- thanx so much for sharing! I think I should show this to some of my friends- they’ll enjoy it as much as I did, I’m sure.
“The Incredibles (Stronger)” - I think I’ve reviewed this one way back, but never hurts to watch an excellent fanvid again, does it? This video’s got flava. I never would have thought that Kanye West and The Incredibles would go together, but the end result works quite well. Amazing job with the syncing. Is it just me or about a 1/3 through the clip, does it look like Violet’s mouth is synced to the lyrics? Heheh.
“Have You Seen These Incredibles Clips?” - I did see that McDonalds clip, I believe you posted a thread about it ages ago, but on a whole my answer is,“nope!”. That was a very fun collection of promotional tie-ins, there. Who would have thought that The Incredibles would have anything to do with washing powder and ADSL. I was wondering where the remote clips came from, so thanks for sharing that info. If you ever find any other clips, I’d love to watch another one of your marketing compilations.
While I was in Hawaii, I got to work on my next project: Pixar Female Tribute video to Jordin Spark’s One Step at a Time. However, I am 99% done with it.
TDIT: Remember I asked you for a collage of every Pixar female character? Well, I’m getting screencaps for you right now. So you can get to work on it.
Okaly-dokaly, TSS. I await your PM. And your vid. Only 1% to go!
Your last assortment of clips was hilarious, TSS! My favorites were “Violet and Dash Parr (at McDonald’s)” and “Violet and Dash Parr (the remote).” I like how in both clips Violet is taking authority over her brother (i.e. holding him in a force field then dropping him or turning invisible to steal the remote from him). She’s kinda cute when she has an attitude .
“Dash and Helen Parr (to The Great Wall and back)” was pretty funny too . I mean, running all the way to the Great Wall of China to take a picture?! So like Dash .
Edna was really funny in “Bob and Edna (Who’s Got Power?).” I can’t tell you how many times my parents have spontaneously broke into song and I’m left saying, like Edna, “Darling, don’t do that.” (Well… minus the “Darling” part ) .
And Helen in “Helen Parr (being a super Mom)” was great ! Reminds me of my mom .
I’m also looking forward to your “Pixar Female Tribute.” Sounds awesome! And I love that song !
Great job, TSS ! Looking forward to your next work .
Thanks for your review Violet Parr.
You’re welcome, TSS .
Hey everyone. It’s time for me to post up another completed project of mine . . . and for once, this isn’t an all Incredibles music video!!!
This music video is a tribute to Pixar’s female characters. They are beautiful, memorable, lovable, and powerful. These lovely ladies impact the movie so much that their stories just wouldn’t be the same without them.
It was a challenge to put in every Pixar female character in this video (and I get this feeling that I am missing a few). What was even more challenging was matching the song lyrics to the clips and finding the right clip. I was in Hawaii when I started and finished this project, but the reason why it took so long to post it on here is the final piece of the video, the cherry on the top, the cheese to the cracker, the dessert after the main course. . . the final siggy for the video. It was specially made/customized by our very own TDIT. This video would definetely not be the same without his contributions so an extra thank you to him.
Well, that is enough of my talking. I hope you guys enjoy my tribute to:
(make sure to watch it in High Quality)
Excellent work sir! I like how some spots fit the lyrics. It’s nice to see someone point out the female characters, there aren’t that many!
I must say, TSS, that was, I believe, the first Pixar females tribute I’ve seen, and I think it was SPECTACULAR!! It was awesome how you remembered so many Pixar females. I don’t think you left any out. And the lyric-matching was great, too! It fits well! It’s also nice to see you branch out to other Pixar. Terrific job!
Also, TDIT deserves some applause, too, for the siggy of so many female characters at the end. So, as a shoutout, incredibly made, TDIT!
Thank you BDD. Oh yeah, I just realized that I did indeed leave out ONE felame character: Darla from Finding Nemo! Oh well. But it was still very fun and challenging to make.
INCREDIBLE, TSS ! Absolutely incredible ! That was wonderful! The timing and matching of the clips was excellent! I loved the intros to all the Pixar movies. I particularly liked the parts with Violet and Jessy. I think they were matched the best. But I guess I’m playing favorites simply because I love Violet, and Jessy used to be my favorite Pixar character before Violet came along . I also like the siggy at the end. Thedriveintheatre did a great job with it
Another great one, TSS ! Keep it up!
Well, I’ve watched it last weekend, but I’ve given it a second look so I can write this review in detail. I thoroughly enjoyed it, one of your best so far, and definitely something new and refreshing! I admire your brave attempt to explore the other Pixar movies, and you managed to get almost all the female characters in!
Regarding song choice, I never gave much thought to this Jordin Sparks’ number (probably cos’ I’m not a huge fan of her, save for ‘No Air’, that is probably my fave from her). FYI, my sis sings this song all the time and I’m like “What’s the big deal?” But your MV has won me over now that I actually had a chance to listen to it.
I love the beginning with the movie title cards ‘strobing’ in time with the beats.
The footage matched beautifully with some of the lyrics, I appreciate that you tried to include as many scenes from other movies without showing too much bias for the Incredibles (not that I’m implying you would). So many of the scenes matched the lyrics like “So close, yet so far away”, “the door keeps slamming”, “learning to fly”, “falling love”, “you got it all figured out”, “we live and we learn”, there’s just too many to mention, but you managed to match almost all of 'em (save for the more vague lines, but that’s not on your part).
The flash beats again in the calm before the final chorus is also a great touch!
And thank you sooo much for including my sig and with credit at the end! I’m sorry if my slowness delayed your vid’s release in any way, I’m really glad you liked it! It is a true honour to create it to promote your sig, so I must thank you in turn for that (and likewise to anyone who complemented it in the above posts).
Out of curiousity, how big was the project file? Did you do this in Windows Movie Maker/iMovie/what video editing program? Did you import the entire movies in or only the scenes you needed? I ask this because I have considered doing a Pixar omnibus tribute like yours (but to different themes and songs, of course) once I get all the films as movie files, so hopefully your answers may help me to gauge the project size (as it is, when I edit single movies, my iMovie project file takes up like 25 GB on my hard drive! ).
Overall, excellent MV! Once again, it’s a pleasure to collaborate with you on this (for the sig). I’m always up for another chance down the road.
Violet Parr: Thank you for your comments. Speaking of Jessie, if you watch it again, you’ll notice that most of the Jessie clips I used were either sad or angry (with one happy clip). I loved using Violet too, as she is my favorite Pixar character.
TDIT:
I chose this song because it is my favorite Jordin Sparks song (for now, until I heard her Battlefield song). This song was originally for an all Incredibles Female characters, but then I was thinking, “maybe this could work when I add other PIxar movies too.” I’m glad you enjoyed the song choice.
That was a fun part to edit as well as watch. I’m not sure if you realized it, but I had to edit the song a bit to fit in all of the movie titles.
Another thing folks, the Pixar movie titles in the MV went from my least favorite Pixar movie to my most favorite Pixar movie (to date)
Speaking of bias, I had a slight bias of TI in this video. I believe I used Violet and Helen the most (with them popping up a total of 11 times, which isn’t a lot considering the number of clips I used)
Most of the lyric matching was easy, but theere were some where I had to pop in a DVD and browse through to find a great clip. BUt it was fun. I not only found what I was looking for, but I also enjoyed watching PIxar’s greatness.
I actually finished my MV when I got back from HAwaii, but I had to wait for that one siggy to make it end perfectly. It wasn’t that long of a delay (just about 4 weeks. ) But the wait was worth it. I went to a lot of people but they just weren’t up to the challenge. You’re one of the best I know at making masterful graphics.
The only video editting software I got is Windows Movie Maker. It sucks, and it ain’t the best, but someone commented to me that I “should be really proud of your music videos because you make something so incredible (no pun intended) from something so crappy (WMM)”
How much memory do I use? Well, If you include the song and the 9 Pixar movies, that sums up to 1 GB. Thats really good for my lapto (which now holds between 11-13 GBs at the moment. But I don’t have a Mac, so I don’t know how much GB tour mac will eat up.
Again, thank you for your detailed review. Hopefully, down the road, I’ll ask for your help once again.
Fantastic job with your Pixar Female Characters Tribute, TSS! It was a real joy to watch! Many of the clips fit the lyrics quite well and your editing is wonderful as usual! I love it when the transitions match with the beat of the music. Makes it all flow nicely.
Thanks for the review Hannahmation. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
