TV Shows You Watch

^I know how you feel. I love House, (I’m even a House/Cuddy fan, and they put them together for this season, but so far I don’t love how the relationship has been handled) but the general opinion seems to be that this season has been terribly weak, and I see why. The show’s going a more comedy route then the dark drama it originally was) But I don’t want to see it go!

Isn’t House supposed to be a show safe from being canceled?

I used to watch House, but I’ve been missing out on recent seasons. :frowning: (I got up to the point where the new team was introduced about two years ago, I think). I was always a House x Cuddy supporter, so I’m glad to see it come true in the latest seasons.

I also watched an episode or two of Human Target. It’s a really great show in the vein of old 80’s show, and it stars that guy from Boston Legal whose name escape me at the moment. I think he was a former Navy SEAL or something, he made a reference to it in one episode of Boston Legal where William Shatner had this vest packed with explosives strapped on him by a disgruntled former client, and the Human Target guy wanted to go all ‘Die-Hard’ to the rescue, but got stuck in air-vent.

This is just my train-of-thought ramble. Pay no attention.

On another note, I’ve watched an episode of Blue Bloods; it’s the one with the jewellery store robbery which results in the slaying of a cop, and Donnie Wahlberg’s character nearly loses it when he finally finds the lead. There’s some great themes on honour and justice, the lead’s father was a vigilante-gangster who ‘took care’ of a cop-killer with a piece to the head many years ago, and now it comes full-circle with D.W. forcing the lead to confess the suspect’s identity in similar fashion.

And of course, the theme of family. The entire NYDP unit. The crime family. The protagonists’ family, three generations of law-enforcers. Wow, Tom, how long has it been since we’ve seen you with that magnificent mustache as a Hawaiian-shirt wearing P.I. in Oahu. :sunglasses:

Thanks to PP member VIolet Parr, I’m into NCIS LA.

You’re a fan too, TSS? I love this show; Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J are the new Crockett and Tubbs! :sunglasses: The operational psychologist guy kind of reminds me of Dr. Carl Lightman from Lie to Me, another one of my favourite shows. Daneila Ruah’s character also looks great, but it is Linda Hunt’s Henrietta that always get my attention every time. I’m sure you know why… the resemblance to a Pixar character is uncanny!

You should also check out the original NCIS, TSS. The character interaction and dynamics is one of the best aspects of the show, and the camaraderie feels natural because the actors are friends in real-life. Some of the actors’ talents are implemented in their character, like Paulette’s ability to sign in ASL is incorporated into her character Abby.

I’ve watched 1,000 ways to die (reluctantly despite the terms Viacom has to Spike TV), and I’ve found some more idiots on this Earth than what i already knew!

If your the sick at heart, i would suggest not watching this show! very gruesome, and sadly, these ways to die actually happened at some point!

I really can’t wait for the new season of leverage to come out. if I’m not mistaken, it comes out in june, same month as my birthday.

Monday nights are amazaing. Why? New episodes of The Regular Show and My Life is a Zoo.

I’m into Blue Bloods now, a riveting police drama about an entire family of law-enforcers, from the patrolman, to detective, to D.A., to Commissioner! Hence the title… ‘Blue Bloods’. Cool, huh?

Stupid Australian Free-to-Air Channel programmers… they keep messing with my TV schedule! How difficult is it to keep a show in the same timeslot and day for more than two weeks? Now they’ve moved it from Wednesday nights to Friday, so I can’t get my fix today! Argh… is this a same problem with American broadcasters?

Rant aside, the show stars the ‘cool-as-Long-Island-Tea’ Donnie Wahlberg and the lovely jennifer Esposito as his new partner. Half of the reason I love this show is the kick-*** intro. The other half is Tom Selleck’s magnificent mustache.

Does anyone have Reelz Channel? I watch a lot of their shows almost religiously for the movie news it offers.

With in a few weeks, all three CSIs will wrap up with their season finalies. I can’t wait! It has been an exciting adventure.

I am watching Eerie, Indiana on Netflix. It was one of the most influential programs of my childhood and 20 years after it originally aired it still holds up remarkably well.

I’ll have more of a review once I get through with the entire series.

I recently discovered the California Channel. I’ve been watching a few shows on it, California Gold, California Green, and California’s Golden Parks.

I’m watching episodes of Deadliest Warrior again.

So I’m kinda hooked on My Little Ponies: Friendship of Magic. Please don’t laugh. It’s really awesome.

It’s okay, TDIT!! We all are. Or at least the awesome ones. I watch every week.

I’m watching No Ordinary Family right now. I always enjoy watching my 2nd favorite family of supers.

I discovered Wordgirl last year. So I set my DVR to record all episodes that aired. I’m almost done, and PBS hasn’t shown any episodes in a long time. I hope they show new episodes soon, or episodes that my DVR hasn’t recorded yet.

i believe the season finale of Criminal minds is tonight. i’m actually a little scared to see this becasue I heard that this is one of the staple character’s last episode with the team.

jersey shore is my guilty pleasure. true story.

i’m actually in love with cartoons. all kinds. family guy (even though the jokes don’t make sense anymore. seasons 1-3 ftw), the simpsons, south park, adventure time, foster’s home for imaginary friends, regular show. also, old episodes of hey arnold = LOVE.

been really into true blood lately, too.
