I would so watch that episode, Pixarfan91!
I entered my Voldemort/South Park sig but didn’t get in.
Anyone watch Eurovision last night? We came sortof in the middle, and Azabaijan (sp?) won. Was a good laugh
Haven’t seen it. What is it.
Anyone watching Survivor? The finale’s tonight, it’s gonna be epic!
I just started watching Doctor Who from the beginning (as in, the 2005 version) and it’s really weird, but the characters are interesting and the storylines are very creative. I’m enjoying it so far, and I have a feeling it’ll get even better as it goes on.
My friend just got into Doctor Who and I was subjected to watching the episode “Blink” the other day. It seems like an interesting show.
Has anyone watched snapped.
I’m watching it this very moment!

I’m glad that after many months of an indefinite hiatus (and being unceremoniously replaced by the painfully inane ‘Minute to Win It’), Chase is back on NBC for Saturday nights. Unfortunately, due to poor ratings, the last five episodes will be its swan song.
I’ll be sad to see this go, because this series has been my ‘guilty pleasure’ last year. Kelli Giddish plays an unstoppable U.S. Marshal who always gets her mark- sort of like a female Jack Bauer, only with a better moral code and without the 24-hour time limit. She has a great supporting cast, and I really like the unconventional location (Houston, Texas) rather than the tired New York/Los Angeles/Miami settings.
This is like the old-fashioned 80s action shows where you have a charismatic protagonist (in this case, a strong female lead), a couple of sidekicks, and a self-contained mystery in every episode without one of those befuddling cliffhangers or overarching plot lines that force you to sit through the entire season.
I will miss the end of ‘Chase’, but oh, what a glorious pursuit it has been.
Remember Garfield and Friends?
I have every episode on DVD!
Did anybody watch the season finale of How I Met Your Mother? I loved the last couple of minutes! That’s the How I Met Your Mother I miss! Now I can’t wait for the new season. This past season and the season before haven’t been that good overall IMO. There were some great moments, but they weren’t that often. Although Barney is my favorite character, when the show wasn’t focusing on Ted being the hopeless romantic that often after he broke up with Stella, I didn’t realize how much I enjoyed seeing that until the show started focusing on the other characters to much. Then comes Zoey, but I was never a Zoey fan. She’s the only girlfriend that Ted has had that I didn’t like. I read an interview with on the creators of the show, and he was talking about how they have been so full off energy creatively since finding out that they have been renewed for two more seasons. They have the rest of the show mapped out. They only plan to do the show two more seasons, but they wouldn’t be opposed to the idea of doing a ninth season, as long as their told about it in advance. But I hope they stop at eight. If this was during the first few seasons, I would be sad at the thought of the show ending, but at this point I think they need to stop with eight seasons.
Also Wife Swap.
I do! It’s one of my childhood favourites next to Heathcliff, even though I didn’t understand the plots.
There’s this one episode where Jon Arbuckle drives a convertible and it hits a bump in the road and he goes flying. That part always got me as a kid, cos’ the way how he just floated in the air and waved his arms after being ejected was so hilarious!
If anyone remembers that episode and can provide me the title (or better yet, a link to the clip if it’s uploaded on Youtube) I would be eternally grateful!
I’m kind of upset that one of my favorite TV shows, Human Target, got cancelled. But on a lighter note, I’m excited for the season finales of some shows I watch: Mentalist, Breakout Kings, and all three CSIs.
Wipeout is probably gonna start soon, and Dancing With the Stars is ending it season in a few weeks.
However, I have to wait until fall (ya’ heard me? fall!) for Star Wars: The Clone Wars to return! The trailer for this season is so awesome; you can go check it out on the Star Wars website.
So, tonight, I found a site containing every episode of Future Boy Conan with English subtitles. For those who don’t know: it’s a Japanese cartoon from the seventies that Hayao Miyazaki worked on (long before Studio Ghibli was founded), it was pretty popular at the time but relatively unknown now, sadly. I’m only one episode in and it’s fantastic! Very good animation for the time and limitations, and it’s hard for a TV show to make me this captivated from the first episode. If anyone needs a link, I’ll PM it to them.
Lolz, that made me laugh. I never heard of that show, but I’m sorry to hear it’s being cancelled.
Now this is embarassing, but when I can’t sleep, I occassionaly whip my laptop out and watch those awful talk shows where people have done horrendous things but are stupid enough to go on the telly and shout about it. The Steve Wilkos Show and The Jeremy Kyle Show are common ones on my list; at night, they seem to set me to sleep for some reason. Very odd
I’m so excited for the season finale of Breakout Kings this memorial day! Great show. Here’s hoping for a season two.
