This season of Legend of Korra started off kind of meh. But the last few episodes have been amazing, and last night. OMG I’m still dying! I’m so excited for these last two weeks.
Last week I showed Mom that Kenan & Kel episode I’ve been watching via YouTube: Tainting of the Screw
“I…dropped the screw…in the tuna!” ![]()
I just found out yesterday that my older brother Josh also liked The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air!
He told me Jazz was always being thrown out of the house.
“I resent that.”
“Ah, the joke’s on you, Mr. Banks. You can’t throw me out, 'cause I’m already outside.”
Also, my older sister’s husband, Craig, liked that show, too!
Also, if there’s 2 things I have in common with my Dad, it’s the fact that we both like The Three Stooges plus The Benny Hill Show!
And I found out the other day that the people in Europe watch American shows just as we (in the United States) sometimes watch British comedy!
Saw the LoK finale on the Nick website. Now I have no shows to watch until March at the earliest. ugh Well MLP starts this week, so I guess I’ll be watching that, even though last season’s finale sucked.
Oh yeah, MLP is coming back!
Feels like it’s been a million years since the last episode, lol. I ought to watch Korra considering I enjoyed the first episode.
I keep forgetting about MLP’s premier! I haven’t seen an episode of that show in so long. ![]()
My latest obsession has been Wander Over Yonder. That show makes me so happy! ![]()
Does MLP stand for My Little Pony? I don’t much about that kind of stuff…
But on the bright side, I am so liking these 2 shows as of recently:
(1) The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
&
(2) Kenan & Kel
(Via YouTube on my tablet–Apple iPad 2)
Yes, it meant my little pony.
The first episode this season, or the first episode ever? And yes, MKP has been gone for a while.
Book 3 of Legend of Korra is called Change, and could start as early as May. Much better than another 15 month wait!
With all the people on my Twitter feed talking about the Doctor Who 50th yesterday it reminded me how behind I am in it. My best friend and I are slowly (very slowly) making our way through them but so far we’ve only seen up to the first few episodes with David Tennant
I recently finished watching all 52 episodes of Creamy Mami, which I started around March of last year ![]()
It’s an anime show from 1983, and, in summary, is about a tomboyish 10-year old girl named Yuu whom gets transported to a spaceship one day, and is given the cosmic power to transform into a magical alter-ego for about a year. She unwittingly ends up becoming a pop star in this form and lives out a dual life as a normal schoolgirl working at her parent’s crepe shop and being a professional recording artist.
It’s a lighthearted series, aimed primarily at 10-15 year old girls and I like that it isn’t meanspirited or harsh. The cast is fun and I like the songs too, even if there should have been more! In a lot of ways it’s like a precursor to Jem and the Holograms. The entire series with English subtitles is available on Youtube for anyone who’s interested!
I especially like this song from it, the second ending theme.
Now I have seen 3 episodes of Kenan and Kel:
(1) Tainting of the Screw
(2) Freezer Burned
(3) Turkey Day
Leirin: Sounds pretty cool. The idea of Creamy Mami reminds me a lot of the 80’s American cartoon Jem and the Holograms, but with a bit of a magical girl twist.
Seriously, if you want to watch a good magical girl show, try out Pretty Cure and any of its installments. Or if you want a funny anime, try out Pani Poni Dash. It’s silly, and has a bit of a retro pop-art feel (have seen only a little bit of it).
^Yeah, you’re right! I’ve intended to watch both of the anime you mentioned for a while now, too. ![]()
Okay, quick little update here…
(1) Just a few weekends ago, I was staying overnight at my sister’s. And she and Craig were sharing their Netflix with me for during their visit. And because I was already starting to like Kenan and Kel, Sissy recommended i watch Good Burger, because of…yep, Kenan and Kel.
(2) I’ve also been watching these Kenan and Kel episodes via YouTube:
–Tainting of the Screw
–Freezer Burned
–Turkey Day
–The Contest
(3) I am looking to rent some episodes of Full House over at the downtown library sometime soon.
(4) I still have yet to watch a full episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I’d love to get a copy of that show over at Wal-Mart…(it’s behind my house–also found Ren & Stimpy plus Danny Phantom over there recently)
(5) The following shows I am remembering as I continue to flashback:
–House of Mouse
–Powerpuff Girls
(6) Only watched a few episodes of ALF so far via Hulu
(7) I’ve also been re-watching episodes of Wayside via YouTube:
–Mrs. Gorf
–The Elevator
–Slow Mo Mo
–Channel Kidswatter
–Oh, Great Leader
Oh, well…there’s my update (for TV shows I watch)
I’m a big Doctor Who fan. Tom Baker is my favourite Doctor, though Matt was excellent. I’m sure Capaldi can do a great job.
One of my favorite SpongeBob episodes is Ripped Pants. Hilarious!
Oh my gosh! I’m on YouTube and watching an episode of ChalkZone!
I have been watching Dr Who lately.
You know what? I’m thinking about watching that, too.
Cool it seems weird the first few times you watch but then you get addicted.
