Typos

So, do you have any typos that you find yourself constantly making?

I always seem to misspell things, have a lower case "I"s, and things like this: [b]word[i]. Kind of frusterating! :stuck_out_tongue:

I type too fast, so…

Well, I do have this habit of making the first two letters of word in the begining of the sentence capitalize. Other than that, my spelling is pretty darn good. . . I think. :unamused:

Whenever I type the word ā€œwingā€ I end up typing ā€œWingoā€ on accident… -smacks face- That darn tuner has invaded my brain.

TSS – I don’t have bad spelling, it’s just that somehow on the computer, I just seem to ā€˜slip up’. Plus, I can never write to well, here. Seems like my posts are asways short and kindergarten-ish.

Candy – Yeah, that makes you a true fan, man! :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha, I guess so. I just need to get that Wingo diecast though. My brother keeps telling me to get it… :stuck_out_tongue:

I have problems with typos ann I can not help it. can’t spell some words and I am 16 years old. that lame for some one my age

These are my most common ones:

 • Jaosn (can’t even type my own name)
 • goign
 • compnay
 • liek
 • teh

I use Mozilla Firefox and it spellchecks for me, but I always preview my posts before I submit them. I reword stuff constantly.

~~=oP

aZnCdn- Yeah, my friend did that with her email address- she mispelt her name; instead of writing Georgie, she wrote Gorgieo. And now it’s stuck with her forever!

I don’t usually make mistakes when it comes to posting, but I guess everyone does every now and then…But, unlike PV, I just can’t be bothered to read my post again before I send it.

I rarely make typos, if I do I go mad. I’m a big English nut, so I’m really a perfectionist with typing. I wouldn’t want to make typos in my novel, so it’s become a habit to type right. I don’t even type in abbreviations for instant messaging.

I’d liek to add tonihgt to my list

Umm , Doc sometimes turns into something else that sounds close to a word I’m not aloud to type on this board … o_0

besides that , I can’t think of anything … though i see some people put lightening instead of Lightning , but I’ve always thought that his name might be that in another country …

Well, strictly speaking, I’m a neat freak when it comes to pretty much anything…including spelling. Henceforth, and due to the fact that I’m constantly writing stories and reading, if I make a mistake I absolutely have to edit it, even if it’s a simple mistake (ie., forgetting to add the ā€˜a’ in ā€˜please’).

Usually, I’ll just to do what PV does and read through my post (but only after I submit the post – heheh).

gottalovepixar - Puh-ha! That first sentence of yours made me laugh.

I would skim through my post but I rarely do that now a days. i just take one good general look then go.

I always put ā€˜form’ instead of ā€˜from’. I did it just

a couple of seconds ago on a thread about your favorite Pixar movie. :unamused:

Mitch : It makes me laugh too ! Ev ery

single time i try to spell doc that happens , or it will be dioc …

and add eill (will) to my list …

sometimes , when I used to write my fanfictions in script for , when i wanted something to be this

Angie : ( blah , blah , blah ) blah , blah blah

it would turn out to be this

Angie :frowning: blah

blah blah ) blah blah blah

Eheh – yes, that’s happened

to me a couple of times as well. I hate it… (snigger)

Don’t you all hate it when you forget to punctuate at

the end of every sentence? I find it a pain.

The Star Swordsman - I’ve never done that – heheh. And if I ever have, I don’t

recall it. (snigger)

You just get so used to typing something, it almost

becomes a habit. Then you go through a mistake without even realizing it. That is just me right there.
