Welp, I saw it today. Due to the fact that I am rather tired at the moment, I’ll keep it brief and say this much:
Although the animation is absolutely fantastic to a tee, the story itself could have been better. Personally, I wasn’t that enthusiastic about it, though the numerous kids surrounding me definitely would have said otherwise…
There were a few jokes that had my sister and I laughing, but the overall direction of the film was, in my opinion, so lackluster that it didn’t make up for its less-than-honorable gags.
As for the acting, it was decent and tolerable, but it could have been better; I especially would have liked to have seen more action from the kid – Underdog’s “pet”/master. Pretty
much the only actor I cared for was the guy who played the role of Barsinister. His cunning and negative demeanor left me quite impressed…up to a point.
In a nutshell, it is a cute film with too much bark and not enough bite. I give it a C- for effort. Heh.

liking, so to speak. But hey, who knows? It might just be me! There’s probably somebody else on here who will love it…
