The Theme- To celebrate Pixar’s newest release, Up, this contest is all about drawing your two favourite Up characters interacting in some way. They can be doing absolutely anything you want, wherever you want (it doesn’t have to be set in the world of Up)!
Requirements-
The artwork must contain any two characters from the film Up.
Any creative art form is allowed.
Please try and avoid including anything very spoiler-ish within your entries. The film has not yet been released universally, and so any entries thought to be revealing too much about the content of the film will not be accepted into the contest.
It must not contain any obscene references- keep it universal, please! Any explicit entries will be ignored.
And that’s it! Be creative, and make sure you follow these dates and deadlines-
Dates-
Opening date: 12th June
Closing date: 12th July
Voting will begin: 13th July
Voting will end: 20th July
The winner will be announced in the first journal after the voting has ended.
Prizes-
The picture will be the club’s featured deviation until the next competition.
The winner will recieve a one month subscription to deviantART.
The winner will be inducted into PPdA’s Hall of Fame.
What a way to get into the spirit of Up. I’m sure all the entries will be fabulous. I hope someone draws Kevin. She’s so colourful and would make for a great entry. Now I wonder which character Mitch is going to draw…

This looks like an interesting contest. No promises (not that you have to for competitions… ), but I’ll see if I can cook somethin’ up, time permitting. In the meantime, I can’t wait to see what others come up with! Way to get into the spirit of adventure!

Ahh, if I have the ability to, I’m hoping to make an awesome pic of Carl and Russell doin sumpfin. Russell looks a bit hard to draw though, all his gear is gonna be tough.
I would enter but I don’t got a scanner, and I can’t draw anything good on the computer! When I have enough money I’m buying a scanner but when that happens the contest will be over!
Hmm, I’m kinda confused at the results,… 2nd place should have been first, and Hannahmation’s entry should have placed! Nothing wrong with expressing opinions I suppose, but I’m really kinda bummed out that some stuff didn’t place.
Yeah, I kinda feel like I was rude in my last post, sorry about that. All of the work was really cool, and a lot of it was unique. Congrats to the winners, and I hope to see more great work!
