Hello everyone,
This is simply my personal opinion, but shouldn’t there be an Up Usergroup in existance? Even though there is still a month left to go before the film is released in the United States, and several months before it’s released internationally, I still think that it’s soon enough for the production to be granted its own Usergroup.
Your thoughts?

I agree with you, Mitch. I was actually wondering about this a few days ago. I’d say its a good time to start a group, but I probably wouldn’t join untill I saw the movie.
I dunno… how can you say you’re a fan of a film when you haven’t seen it yet? But some people have seen the movie early at preview screenings. I think we should wait until the movie’s released in the US at least before having a usergroup.
mo and Rachel - Mmm. Understandable. Perhaps it is a bit too early on in the game to create a Usergroup for the film. Still, quite a few video clips from the production have been shown publicly, and we basically know the main plot and the personalities of most of the characters. Well, it was just a thought…
Would the same apply to an Up skin/theme for the forum boards, do you think? Still too early, perhaps?

Even though there is like one more month before the film is released, isn’t it kinda early for a usergroup to be created or for a new skin to be relased? If I remembered, I think the WALL-E usergroup and the WALL-E Pixar Planet Forum Skin was created after the movie was released in America.
The usergroup can be done. If someone makes an icon for it mid next month I’ll make the group.
As for the theme, that requires the wondrous Mell_O_Drama.
They were? I remember that the WALL•E skin was created after the film’s release, but I’m not so sure about its Usergroup. You’re probably right, though.

I’d rather not be in charge of creating an icon for the group, so I’ll leave it up to someone else, unless it is requested of me to make one. Just to put in my two cent’s worth, I’d prefer that the image feature either balloons or Russell. That’s just me, though…
Yeah, I trust that Mell will be on hand to create an Up skin in the near future. She always does a fantastic job in molding them, so I look forward to her rendition of the theme.

Ooh, I love that icon! How sweet! Who made it? But I won’t join the group just yet- I’ll wait until I’ve seen the film, just in case I don’t like it. Which is very, very unlikely, but still.

I’ll take lizardgirl’s lead and wait till I’ve seen the movie before considering whether I’m ‘fanboy-ish’ enough to join. 
Hannahmation - You’re most welcome, and nice work on the icon! This is just my opinion, but it almost looks more dated than the other “badges”, which does, I think, work well taking into account the subject matter at hand (i.e., the time period in which Carl Fredricksen spent a good portion of his life).
