VeggieTales now has it’s own tv show! I believe it airs on NBC every Saturday morning at 8:00 (or
was it 9:00?). It’s worth a look. ![]()
My favorite characters: Larry and Mr. Lunt
My favorite Silly Song: "The Pirate who
don?t do anything"
My favorite episdoe: The Ballad of Little Joe
My Favorite Characters: Larry, Mr. Lunt, Jimmy and Jerry Gourd, and Pa Grape.
My Favorite Silly Song:
“The Pirates Who Don?t Do Anything”
My Favorite Episdoe: ''LarryBoy and The Bad
Apple"
I have almost all the VT DVDs to date, but Pixar is still my favorite.
I’ve been desperately trying to like Larryboy and the Bad Apple.
Don’t get me wrong; I think it’s great. It’s just that…it doesn’t seem to have that “flavor” that
the older VeggieTales films had. (That goes for all of their newer films, after The Ballad of
Little Joe.) Does anyone else think that I’m crazy here? ![]()
It does have a different “flavor”
than the older episodes, but i think thats okay. Each VT episode that comes out nowdays has a different feel, and
I like that.
Only 12 days till the next Veggietales comes
out on
DVD!

TheJumboLarge: Mmm…yes, they do. I guess I’ll just have to learn to like
them…
JV: Yay!! ![]()
What was your favorite Veggietale episode you guys?
The Star Swordsman: My favorite, you say? The
Ballad of Little Joe, without a doubt. There is just something about the way they did that episode
that makes me smile every time I watch it. Although, the fact that I love western films may have something to do
with it… ![]()
My favorite was the Larryboy episodes.
It reminds me so much of the Incredibles.
The Star Swordsman: Haha – I should have known.
I also love the Larryboy
episodes, and most of the other…“older”…shows. I was especially excited when Big Idea announced the
return of Larryboy – it was about time they made another one of those. No offense to the Big Idea crew. ![]()
Only 9 Days away till the next Veggietales comes
out!
I know I
can’t wait!
I’m kind of surprised to see all these people liking
VeggieTales. I guess I kind of figured that nobody outside the church really knew about them…
I think my
favorite VeggieTales episode has got to be be “Josh and the Big Wall.” It’s fun, it’s silly (the
Jerichoites? Jerichans? fighting with cement trucks full of slushie goodness, and the priests looking like jazz
musicians), and it’s got a great message, and that message isn’t just that when Larry starts screaming, you’d
better pay attention. (“My name is Joshua, and God has given us this land!!!” Yeah, you’d better run!)
Larry (and by extension, Larry-Boy) is my favorite character. Bob gets bogged down in the minutiae; Larry just
wants to make you smile. ![]()
I’ve been a fan since the beginning - I used to teach 3-year-olds in Sunday
School, and we’d watch VeggieTales all the time. While I haven’t seen most of the new ones, I’m still a big
fan. I also adore the Jonah movie… I saw a video they made to promote the movie and featured a lot of songs
from the movie, and went out and bought the soundtrack the next day. “In the Belly of the Whale” is
still one of my absolute favorite Newsboys songs.
In case you can’t tell, I love VeggieTales.
KE: Another great Veggietales
fan another great story KE!
How many episodes do they have?
