If you do decide to play one, start with 7.
The graphics aren’t great like today’s games (it was made in 1997, or around that time), but it has an amazing storyline.
For a first time I too would pick 7.
If you want the more classic style RPG-like thing, go for 9.
If you want the more “out of the box”, try 10. But that’s just me ![]()
Yeah, actually, I think 9 has the best storyline for a FF game. It’s my favorite, overall. ![]()
If you ask me, I would say every Final Fantasy has a good story line on its own. You have to save the world in every FF but the way is different in every game. Like in FFVII defeating Sephirtoth and saving the planet from Meteor or like in FFVIII, my favorite by the way, traveling to the future to defeat an evil sorceress. They have all different story lines but the same goal. That’s something I like about FF.
Thanks for all of your advice guys. I’ll try to remember it.
Here is a game I can’t wait for. I can’t wait for the game Tekken 6. I love that game and pretty good at it myself.
Haha, I remember playing Tekken 2 back in the day. I was always Eddie. XD
I think Eddie didn’t start appearing until Tekken 3.
BUt my characters have always beng Paul, Christle, Jun, Jin, Xiayou, and Law.
So there ARE other people in the world who love video games as much as I do? I"m not alone! ![]()
I’m waiting for Civilization: Revolution to come out, but I have my eyes on The Bourne Conspiracy - it might be a pretty cool game.
I have never heard of that game before. Can ypu explain it to me.
Civ or Bourne?
Firefly: How about both please.
OK, I’ll see what I can do. You can always go to gamespy.com to get a better summary. ![]()
Civilization:Revolution is basically an update in a series of games released by Sid Meier. You can choose any civilization (US, England, France, Russia, etc.) and one of their “great” leaders (Victoria, Roosevelt, Catherine the Great), and take the civilization back to the beginning and rule it the way you please. (Oh yeah, ancient civilizations are included
) The game deals heavily with strategy and planning, which is why I find it so enjoyable. You must think about your next move carefully, because mistakes could lead to wars - it hurts when your on the losing side.
In a nutshell, that’s it, but there is SO much more!
Bourne:Conspiracy is taken from the Bourne movie series. (Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, Bourne Ultimatum) If you have never seen them, I highly suggest you do! The game goes before the movies and let’s you take control of the life of Bourne, all the way into the movies and after them. First person, action-adventure. Due to spoilers if you’ve never seen the movies, I won’t let you in on the big details, but the game looks good. ![]()
That help?
The first one sounds very intresting to me Firefly. I really love strategy games myself.
Yeah, SS, I love strategy too because I love to think and plan and recieve punishment or reward for those decisions. And believe me, you have to think in that game! One choice (choosing to trade with someone, choosing not to, whether to encourage growth or focus on your military) effects everything in the long run. I will shut up now, I’m givng too much away!!

So far, I find that I am only good at one strategy game and that game is Yu-Gi-Oh.
Well, I finished FF:VII again…Now I’m playing Crash Bandicoot: Warped. I loved playing it back in the day.
Found a fun gaming site that has a really neat way to keep people coming back. It’s sort of like the achievement feature for the Xbox. I love it!!!
My username there is Andyroo. =]
I really can’t wait to get Grand Theft Auto 4. I’ve been putting off buying it because I know that if I get it now, I’ll be distracted from my exams, but it just looks so good!
I’ve been playing MMORPGs recently… and I finished up with the 2nd phase of closed beta testing for Neosteam. It’s now my third favorite free MMORPG, alongside Holic and Mythos, as being free, fun, and decent enough to bring a form of freedom.
My only gripe is PVP and that’s all too common in MMOs. It seems like that people are addicted with killing people in MMOs. And I absolutely hate PVP.
Asides from that… I’m sad because I’m, in essence, playing all alone. I tried my hand at making some friends on there, though. So I could talk to them when the Open Beta test starts, on the 20th of this month(yay!), which I’m anticipating. So we will see how it goes.
Another thing about games, alongside movies, etc… is the music. And alot of the time it has a powerful impact upon me. To the point I wanna cry. And it’s just crazy… but some songs just reminds me of how lonely I am when I play on these games. And how I long for companions. But I normally play a ‘loner’. Why? Because I don’t just seek to play the game to play it like most people…
I want to roleplay on the MMORPG with other people. And they are quite hard to come by. I want to “adventure” and bend my mind and have fun with my character instead of just -roleplaying- with the NPCs all the time. Because…
Questing, levelling up, doing task after task for the NPCs is fun and all. But that’s all that ever seems to occur. And there is practically no interaction between us players as we focus sorely on the menial tasks of trying to get higher in level. For what? Most people would rather PVP. I just want to roleplay… but it’s hard.
One game I really can’t wait for is a game called TNA Impact. I love TNA, but only if they would put in the Knockouts, then I would love it.
