You a soccer fan I assume?
What do you all think about Pixar entering into the videogame industry. They could make stellar graphics since that is their core competency. Maybe they could collaborate with an industry vet on the gameplay aspect.
iamangel: They could well do, but I can’t see Pixar turning into a megacorporation anytime soon!
I see your point though, they would look awesome.
Welcome to the boards btw!
If they had the talent to make videio games, I think they’d do very well.
Has anyone got OoT 3D?
Going to start playing Team Fortress 2 since it’s free now
Oh iamangel, I don’t know. Making video games could be a great venture for them, but designing video games is an entirely different process. It’s about programming and function, while making animated movies is… well, animating on a program. Hehe. Pixar is the best at what they do, so there’s no need for them to be the best at something else. Although, I agree, the bomb graphics couldn’t really hurt.
@Pixarfan91 Zelda? Nope but I wish I could. Unfortunately I own neither a 3Ds nor the money to buy one.
So who can share their Steam IDs now that TF2 is free?
Pixarfan91: I do! I haven’t played the original in a long time so I can’t tell the intricate differences, but it’s really enjoyable so far. I’m on the Water Temple now. The menu navigation is a lot easier and the gyroscope controls are actually really cool. I didn’t expect to use them much, but I do.
I hated the water temple. Good thing it’s easier.
I wonder what the major differences with the Water Temple are? I really hated that place…
I played my old Mario Kart 64 a few days ago.
I’m not really that much into video games in general, but I love Mario games and pretty much any racing game.
Does anyone like the Nintendo 3DS? What games are the killer-apps for the portable handheld system. Do you think that the 3D is a gimmick? Do you believe that the games are designed with 3D in mind or do they seem like they are tacked on at the end like many 3D movies.
I just finished OoT 3D, which was also the very first time I’ve finished the game. I used to get frustrated with it and give up years ago.
I’m not really one to judge, considering that it’s my only 3D game at the moment, but from what I can tell from some of the other games it really depends on how the game utilises the 3D for it to be either a gimmick or an important aspect. Ocarina of Time, for example, does seem a little gimmicky, as all the 3D does is make it look prettier. I found myself actually turning it off during some of the boss battles because I was moving the console around which screwed up the 3D effect. Some games such as The Sims 3 are just plain gimmick. Racing games, on the other hand, seem to me to be the best game genre to use 3D.
I actually like 3D better than HD. It almost never hurts my eyes, even when maxed out, and it definitely makes the game more interesting to look at. And occasionally it helps with aiming and such, but really not to the extent that Nintendo is touting. It’s still a nice feature, though.
I started playing Monster Hunter Tri recently, it’s awesome so far (but I hate fishing ).
I was never really a big Video game person. And I know someone whos house got struck by lightening and Tvs gamecube radios and thing electronic that was plugged in fried i feel bad for them but luckily only one person was home and he said it sounded like a bomb so that had to be freaky.
Has anyone caught all the pokemon in any of the games?
I caught them all in Ruby, FireRed, and Emerald.
I’ve lost interest in the new Pokemon games.
Look at the crap that is current Pokemon… they are trying to mess with my childhood.
Super Mario Brothers Wii
I almost caught them all in the old games. problem is I don’y gave another gameboy. But I have a link cable.
I was close to see all of them in order to have completed my pokedex (1st, 2nd and 3rd generation), but I missed some legendaries (FireRed)
