Video Games

I got The Incredibles for my PS2. It’s really frikin’ hard! I also NASCAR 06: Total Team Control, to go along with NASCAR Thunder 2004, NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup, and NASCAR 08.

I need to get Pokemon Black or White.

I need to finish HeartGold first in order to move on Black or White, but I think that I am getting too old for pokemon games now ,

I beet Clair yesterday and will go to Kanto soon.

Every day I think about picking up Uncharted and beating it. But I’m scared of those monsters. I don’t like fighting realistic looking monsters. :frowning:

Now I’m in Victory Road.

Alright…

The following is not directed specifically at Tyler1995 and is not meant to sound like an attack or flame-war, just a statement against the opinion.

I’m getting tired of these long-time Pokemon fans saying the newer gen games are “messing with their childhoods”. What about them? Is it the designs of the new Pokemon? I don’t think the newer designs of Pokemon are the greatest in the series, but they’re fine. They’re passable at least. And they are instantly recognizable as Pokemon, taking all the same design routes the earlier ones did to keep the series feeling unified.

If they did these Pokemon 7 years ago, would people be complaining? Of course not. But it’s new and therefore “crappy”. People are so unwilling to accept the new. This is reminding me of Anton Ego’s speech at the end of Ratatouille…

If you don’t want to play the new Pokemon games, that’s fine. No one is subjecting you to. But people are letting the nostalgia goggles take over and they instantly get mad over some new addition to “their childhood”. I know I don’t exactly have the best judgment on the matter because I’m a very new fan of the series, but I can tell when people dislike something for what it is versus letting a bias take over.

I like the new Pokemon games, their fun. But I stopped watching the show in the middle of Hoenn. The show is repetitive, Misty never makes a cameo, I hate Ash’s new voice, the rest are okay. and it just boring.

SUPER MARIO BROTHERS WII!

Hey, I have that! I got it for my birthday last year. I still haven’t completed the World 9/Star Coin quest, but I’m close. It hasn’t been completed because one of my brothers (who is a pro at the game) keeps starting new accounts instead of finishing the original. He’s completed up to Bowser’s Castle so many times, but we still haven’t completed World 9. 8D

Does anyone here play Legend Of Zelda? I am a huge fan of those games. Right now I’m playing the The Legend Of Zelda and The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time. :sunglasses:

I got it for christmas and am only on world 2 Im ashamed of my playing skills

I adore the Zelda series. <3 Ocarina of Time is really wonderful, I gotta play through it again sometime. I’m currently in the middle of my annual Summer Wind Waker playthrough. I always play this game through the summer, it gets me in the mood.

Who is zelda?

Leirin: Cool! So far the only one I’ve finished is Link To The Past, but I’m working on playing all of them.

Sealy: Have you played or seen any of the games? If so, Zelda is the princess that Link (the hero in green) has to rescue.

What link WHERE! :unamused:

Oh wait, no… “Link” is the name of the main character.

Oh

I never completely beat A Link to the Past, but I got soooo close! I’ll have to try again sometime. It was in fact my first ever Zelda game and I brought it along on my first camping trip at age 5 (it had just been re-released on the GameBoy Advance).

So far I’ve beaten Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker and nothing else, but have progressed pretty far in most all Zelda games I own.

Leirin: Well, I didn’t quite complete it myself… I was using a guide. Not sure if that still counts.

Sealy: Here’s a picture of Zelda and Link:

Anyone gonna get Skyward Sword?
