One game I’m really interested in playing is Disney Universe, second to that is Kinect Rush. I especially like the large array of costumes to choose from in Disney Universe (as far as I’ve seen in the previews), and the whole silliness of it.
The only reason why I’d like Kinect Rush is for Ratatouille and Up. Of all the movies feature on that game, those are the only two I like. Hopefully they make an updated edition with more movies.
LEGO The Lord of the Rings was released but I still haven’t got it.
It seems like one of the best games in the series and I can’t wait to have it.
I am currently playing Forza Horizon. The best Forza game ever. I recommend.
I recently played Half Life 2 EP 1 and am currently listening to the TF2 soundtrack (very reminiscent of The Incredibles if you will. Especially the 60’s spyness of the music).
PixarTeo: I was debating whether to get Forza Horizon or Most Wanted. I think they’d make a good double pack (although they’re by different game studios and one’s a 360 exclusive).
Just another day in Steelport.
Playing the zany and 100 per cent crazy Saint’s Row The Third on Xbox 360. The opening bank heist is the craziest and most imaginative one I’ve seen in fiction. The robbers wear masks of their own heads, their hostages ask them to sign autographs, and you’ll never believe how they escape with the money - think a helicopter and some cables (minor coarse language).
Does anyone here play any of the Sonic titles? I’ve been revisiting them lately on the Gamecube.
Haha, I love a lot of Sonic games!
I’m bad at the classic ones but I do still like them— especially Sonic 3. Or Sonic & Knuckles.
I have a huge soft spot for the Adventure games too although I guess nostalgia has got a lot to do with that. They were a huge part of my childhood. I enjoyed Heroes, too.
The Adventure titles were great. I mean, they have their flaws, but they’re still fun to play. Heroes is okay, but the controls for that game are very clunky.
Speaking about Sonic, I recently got Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed. I’m a huge fan of racing/driving games, and I loved Sonic & Sega " " as an iOS app on my iPad. Apparently you can even play as Wreck-It-Ralph, so this is a no-brainer purchase for me! I’ll probably open it on the weekend and give it a spin!
Ralph even asks the question everyone who’s played the game wondered about Sonic (0:34).
I play Ratchet and Clank. It’s a classic. I remember it was one of my first ps2 games. Gotta love good ol’ Ratchet and Clank!
Sonic games were cool when they didn’t make thousandths of copies and remakes.
What I am waiting are the kinect games from pixar with Buzz Lightyear, Up, Cars, The incredibles, Ratatouille etc.
Well we have Most Wanted too. Their both pretty good, but in my opinion I would say get Forza Horizon.
Ah, thanks for the recommendation. Why do you prefer Forza Horizon over NFS Most Wanted?
Well first of all, Forza Horizon has very good graphics, and the sound of the engines are in my opinion the best there is. It is fun just to cruise around and look at the scenery around Colorado. And pretty much everything is amazing.
Ah, so I take it that the production quality for Forza Horizon is better than Most Wanted, and you find it more fun to drive around the countryside than in an urban environment?
A local reviewer also gave Forza a higher score than NFS. I’m more familiar with the latter series (I own Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit, Need for Speed: Porsche 2000, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2, and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (The Criterion remake) on PC, and a pre-owned copy of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (The Criterion remake) on Xbox 360 (Cos’ my laptop couldn’t render the PC version on a fast-enough framerate). I don’t own any of the Forza titles, but I’ve tried a demo of Forza 2 and played Forza 3 at my friends’ house, so I have a feel that it is more ‘realistic’ than the NFS series.
Well in a urban evironment in NFS, it has quite a few cars on the road which can be annoying when you do street races. In Forza Horizon, there are also quite a few, cars but the roads are wide so you can easily pass. And if you just want to flaw it down a road, there is a lot of straight and wide roads you can do it. And it is particularly fun to try to beat your friends speeds at the speed traps. (And if you have not alot of people that already play Horizon you can PM me for my Xbox 360 name on Xbox Live. )
Oh my god yes. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the GameCube WAS my childhood.
Rollin’ around at the speed of sound…
Ah I see, thanks for enlightening me, PixarTeo. I will take your comments into consideration the next time I head to my local game store. Unfortunately, I don’t have Xbox Live nor know how to set it up, but I think I have a free one-month subscription card lying around somewhere.
Well you don’t need to have gold to talk to friends or beat their own scores. I can explain to you how to set it up.
