Just ran across this: Disney quizzes on Sporcle (late lunch today). I know there are haters out there who are anti-quiz, but whatever. Thought the Disney Villains quiz was very fitting for this thread. The quiz could use an update, though. I got 9/12. Tarzan, Emperor’s New Groove and Jungle Book stumped me. Anyone else?
You mean what was the movie about? Basically, theres some circus performer named Sarousch who wants to steal Notre Dame’s sacred bell. I haven’t seen this sequel in a long time but I remember it’s terrible.
Oh, okay. I also vaguely remember the pretty girl Quasi liked…the blonde one? Joan or something?
BTW in Emperor’s New Groove it was debateable whether it was Kuzco or Yzma who was the villian. You goota admit, the Emperor does some pretty worng things.
Yeah, the girls name I think was Madellaine or something like that. I remember that the ending to that movie was really stupid to me.
Kuzco is a baddie, granted, but he’s the protagonist, so Yzma is the antagonist.
Besides, Kuzco get’s a little better as a person at the end of the movie, which Ytzma doesn’t.
But the movie is a satire, so the archetypes aren’t very straight, after all.
I like villans who are funny and make you laugh. I really have a hard time liking any of them that are all serious all the time.
I really like Scar because he is hilarious!

I saw the Lion King Festival show in Hong Kong Disneyland and that totally validated Scar on my Best Villains list. The guy playing him was LIKE A BOSS! And Jeremy Irons? HELOOOOO!! Scar rules.Though technically he didn’t rule, though he got pretty darn close. The villianess in Lion King 2–what was her name?–doesn’t even cut it.

Anything about a Disney sequel is inferior to the original.
Exactly. The sequels made under Eisner were awful.

I hate most Disney sequel’s excupt for a few.
Yeah, I don’t like the Disney sequels either. They’re just hold-offs for more money. 
Out of Pixar villians, I absolutely love Charles Muntz. He was from one of my favorite time periods, and he has a great accent. I think the only reason he’s a bad guy is because he’s been out in the wilderness alone for so long (dogs don’t really count), and he’s driven himself crazy trying to find this bird. So when people come and try to take what he’s been working so long for, he gets pretty mad. 
True, and he hasen’t seen to many people. One of the reason’s he may of built the voice collar is to talk to them and not be lonly.

Well, out of the Pixar villians I liked Hopper, Muntz, and Lotso.
I’ve always loved Hopper! I used to have a stuffed one. When I first saw Lotso, I thought he was so cute, and I was disappointed when I found out he was the villain.
