Well, here’s the thing: I don’t even know! I’ve got a lot coming. I might just go in order of the files in my computer. But I’ve got more original work, waaaay more Violet, and, ah heck… I’ve got another comic strip coming . And I’ve got some stuff for my recent bout of fandom for X-Men: Evolution. Some Rogue (Anna Marie), Nightcrawler (Kurt), and I might do X-23 (Laura Kinney) (They’re my three favorites.). And I’ve got a couple pieces for a fanfic I’m thinking about doing but half of me really doesn’t even wanna write.
Oh i definetely can not wait for them Violet Parr. I will tell you that in addition for the Violet ones, I’m excited for X-23 as well. She is my new favorite female marvel character. (And she kinda reminds me of a scrappier Violet, with claws)
Well, I’ll try to get X 23 up as soon as I can for you. And, I realized that, also. She is kinda like Violet (just a lot darker and like you said, with claws…).
Okay, update. And to those of you who follow my Q&A, I’ll be getting the started back up shortly.
Okay, thinking here was, what if some super villain decided to kidnap Violet and mind control her with a brain chip (or however the super villains are controlling minds these days…)? But, what if the villain got more than he bargained for, and Violet turns on him? It turns out she’s more powerful than once thought, and now it’s up to her family to stop her before she hurts someone… or herself.
Good? Please, don’t be afraid to give feedback.
This one’s pretty self-explanatory . I’ve gotten very deep into Glee, and felt it only right to draw my favorite character as a Gleek . Now all she needs is one of those big foam l’s.
To follow that up…
Okay, actually, this is a totally unrelated piece, and done before the “Gleek” picture. This is the mini comic strip I was telling you about. This was the nerdling in me coming out. I just couldn’t help myself… I like it over-all, but I’m disappointed with how Dash came out.
Well, that’s all for now. Hope you liked it ! Thanks again to all the viewers!
They Were great! The Evil Violet design was really fun. I loved The Comic Strip (well, I do love Comic Books). Great Job!
Violet, incredible job. I love the comic strip and the pic of Evil VIolet. The Gleek picture is great too. Too bad I’m not a fan of Glee (just to put it nicely). Anyways, incredible job with your pictures. I can’t wait to see more.
I’m glad you both loved them ! Thank you so much! I’ll be putting up more, soon. And putting some stuff in my Non-Pixar thread.
I can’t wait for the new stuff. And I’ll give a look at your non-pixar artwork too.
Okay, Update time !
Okay, so, when Violet grows up, and moves out on her own, I could totally see her getting a dog ! This is the kind of dog I think she’d get. This is-- who else?-- Kobalt. Yes, same name as my dog . That’s actually why I named my dog that. I thought if Violet got a dog, that’s what she’d name him. This Kobalt is different from mine, though. Violet’s Kobalt is a lot bigger, has prick ears, and would be different breeds (what I have right now is 3/8 Siberian husky, 3/8 German Shepherd, 1/8 Alaskan Malamute, and 1/8 Timber Wolf). But they do have almost the exact same color pattern (Except my Kobalt is reddish-black, red/tan, and white. Violet’s would be monochromatic black/silver/white). She trains him in Schutzhund, and he’s her big, furry alarm/body guard. My story was she moved into an apartment and was there for a couple months, and someone broke in. The alarm failed to wake her up. Thankfully, she used her powers to subdue the robber, but she thought it was about time to stop “thinking” about getting a dog, and go get one. So she rescued Kobalt, here . He is almost as intelligent as, and thinks like, a human. She was surprised at how much she got attached; and, shortly, he went from a companion, to a oober-spoiled best friend who’s extremely protective of, and loyal to, his owner. I have more of him and other versions I was considering, but I’ll post them later.
This is a sketch of Violet’s Dad having a talk with her about something. My guess, something was bothering her and he’s giving her advice. What exactly it’s about, you tell me .
Excellent work Violet Parr! You areally adore these father/daughter moments huh? I love the pic. Nice work. It’s a really touching pic.
Thanks ! Yep, I do . They just have such a sweet relationship. I think I might do sort of a Father/Daughter picture of Logan and Laura (Wolverine and X-23, but I prefer their real names .). I know, technically she’s his (partial) clone, but that’s the relationship that they have… sorta. Blood means nothing .
Now, you have any ideas as to what Violet and her Dad might’ve been talking about ? And what did you think of Violet’s puppy ?
They were both wonderful. I love that you gave Violet a Dog. Really great job on both.
Thanks a lot, pixarmilan ! Like I said, she strikes me as a dog person; at the very least, when she’s older she would be, especially if she’s out on her own. And I could totally picture her training him as a police dog !
It’s Vigilanty and Element 27 !!! (Okay, so, here, they’re just Violet and Kobalt, quick-witted Psychiatrist and loving, protective therapy canine . [And, no, he has no super powers, just more speed and strength than a human, and one heck of a set a teeth .])
This one really touched my heart because it reminded of my dog. Really nice. Keep it up Vi. Everytime I miss my dog, this pic will remind me of him.
I thought you really captured the emotion well in that drawing. Really wonderful job!
Thank you both a lot ! I’m glad this one brought out the right emotion <3 . I really so try to make my interactions real, and I’m glad it turned out believable. And I’m very happy it touched you in a special way, TSS !
I can’t wait to see more Violet Parr!
Same here.
you know the stuff you showed me on facebook Vi? are you gonna post those?
Your work never ceases to impress me Violet!
Thank you all very much! I appreciate the comments ! And yes, TSS, I do intend to post those . In fact, I’ll post one right now!
I’m very proud of this one. This is an older Violet using her force fields. This was done whilst I was supposed to be doing school work… buuuuuut, never mind that. Not much else to say 'bout 'dis one. Just a really cool shot of Violet .
This is another one for Vigilanty (The writing for which has been postponed due to communication troubles between me and Phileas. Darn you, long distance phone calls for being too expensive!). This was one of his ideas for some gadgets for Violet’s boots, as she is now lacking a high-heel (honestly, who in their right mind crime-fights in spikes willingly?). She now has wheels and cleats the come out at her will . I LOVE how the foreshortening on this one looks! It’s simple, but it’s good. But, uh… please excuse the misspellings …
Please, let me know what you think . 'Till next time !
