This first one is REALLY old. I think I did this a year or two after the movie came out. So I was only ten or elleven. But I thought the concept was good enought to post. Basically, The guards (they’re supposed to look like Syndrome’s goons) have heat-seeing goggles, so Violet had to resort to… other methods of evading them. Yes, her hair is flowing magically through her body, I was aware of that even when I drew it. But at the time, I thought it looked cool and I didn’t care as much about accuracy

Not really an old one, just a scrap (basic sketch). This one is concept art for [b:1kb9281a]TSS[/b:1kb9281a]'s fanfic, [i:1kb9281a]Syndromes Reaturn[/i:1kb9281a]. From the end of the chapter "Assult," this picture shows a beaten down Violet. I know, I know, she sould be [b:1kb9281a]way[/b:1kb9281a] more banged up here, but I was just getting the pose right. Oh, and BTW, she’s supposted to be lying on a beach half-conscious, in case anyone was wondering. I finnaly drew and up-turned face well! I’m still practicing!

I was hesitant to post this one, because it’s kind of spoilerish. But I was just fed up with having to skip over it every time I went to post something. So here it is. But I’m not gonna say what’s going on, because I know a certain fan who’s following and waiting for that fic to finish being re-written, and I don’t think he could help himself . Heh… Okay, this one is from the story I talked about before, about violet getting sick. And this is a rough sketch of Doc Sunbright preparing an injection… one freaking big-butt* injection (*I don’t like to curse
). (If I knew the rest of the rough sketches for this would be understandable, I would’ve posted them, but I fear they’re so rough I’m the only one who’ll know what’s gonig on
.) What’s funny, if you’d look at the rest of the rough sktechees, before he pulls that needle out, Violet’s all lethargic and half-knocked-out looking. But the second that thing come out, VVVEE-YOOWWWWWW!!! She shoot’s up like she’s spring loaded

One more. This is another character from Me and Phileas’s fanfic, [i:1kb9281a]Vigilante[/i:1kb9281a]. This is Zack, the smart-butt, non-super Prodigy working as the Vigilante’s doctor. He’s very giddy and exuberant and sarcastic, often too much. Him and Scarlet (the girl with the power to turn into a wolf, of whom I posted pictures earlier), can’t stand each other, mostly because of their polar opposite personalities and her distrust of "humans." But that’ll come another time. Right now, that’s all you get .

Really great job on all of them! I think the first one had a really cool concept. And I thought the color was great on the one with color. So I really enjoyed them.
Violet Parr, you’ve heard me say it alot. But you are one incredible artist. Everytime I see your artwork, my jaw drops on the floor.
I remembered the first one. At first, I thought, oh wait, how would Violet get up there? That would take incredible strength, but with a guard with IR vision, she didn’t really have a choice. I’m sure if she had to, she would hide up there. Might be easier for her mom than her, but still, really nice work. NOw that’s thinking on your feet (even though she’s not really on her feet)
The second one, i remembered. I said that I imagined Vi would be a little more roughed up, but still, seeing it again brought a smile to my face.
I love seeing Violet being carried by her father. It’s always so touching. You are so passionate about those moments. Keep it up.

Finished these two yesterday; both where inspired by Glee versions of Christmas songs. First, something I like to call “Cold and Violet Winter,” as it was being made. I actually have it finished, but sadly, the printer/scanner was being temperamental. So I won’t be getting to post it just yet 
. But, have no fear! Mom will help soon, tomorrow, probably. So I’ll get it up as soon as I scan it, because I think it’s pretty cool (but not as good as I would’ve liked). I’m trying to keep it dark and surreal. Done whilst listening to “River” the Glee version (at least, I believe that’s what it’s called). Titled “Cold and VIOLET” insted of “cold and violent.” Yeah, I need to get better titles… God willing, I’ll come up with something better before I post the finished product.

Wow, two drawings inspired by Glee Christmas songs in one day! This one was done to the song “Christmas Wrapping” (hence the title). I plan on coloring this as soon as I get my hands on Photo Shop. It’ll look a lot better once I do. I really like the end table . And the couch isn’t a regular couch, but a cross between a recliner and a futon, so that’s why it’s all squishy.

Okay, so I’ve recently figured out how to use DA Muro. Now, at first, I didn’t think I could do a thing with it. But once I started practicing, I found out that I love it! My first ever art trade <3 ! My half of I and UltraViolet14’s trade (DA)! I love this piece! I was going to just do a simple sketch, but I got a little excited 
. Anyway, UltraVioelt14 requested Violet and her best friend, and that her friend have a service dog for some unseen reason. So this is what I came up with. Enter, Wakanda! Or “Way” for short . Here’s what I came up with for her (and please, bare with me here, I made this up as I was typing) : She’s Violet’s best friend and closest confidant. She shares a lot of interests with Violet, but does has a slightly different personality. She’s a bit more bubbly and upbeat, and a bit hyperactive in Violet’s opinion 
. But she treats Violet with respect, and that’s more than can be said for most of the students at Western View Junior High. And she is also a super hero, and ergo, relates to the challenges Violet faces. The name “Wakanda” in fact means “Possess magical powers,” and they may not be real magic, but she could outdo any regular magician. Her powers allow her to take control of inanimate objects, and teleport them wherever she wishes within a mile of her. She also possess control over light, which, ironically, can make Violet completely visible even if she fights it. She also seems to be able to make Violet’s thoughts visible, as she often can pick out if something is bothering Violet and they are quite frequently found to know what each other is going to say before the other says it, or even at the same time. She also has a service dog, a Black Labrador Retriever named X Caliber, who accompanies her everywhere. She suffers from epilepsy, which can throw her into seizures at any time. This was brought on by the development of the power center in her brain, giving her super-human abilities, but impeding her nervous system slightly by developing in just the wrong place. Not only can Caliber sense these seizures before they happen, he also seems to be able to shorten them by laying with her and licking her. Violet and Wakanda met when they were young, and got closer the more they hung out. She was one of the few people to keep in contact with Violet even after every time she would move. As a fellow super, she didn’t need to be shut off. They can confide in each other and talk about things they can’t discuss with anyone else. Overall, these two make quite a team .
This character is loosely based on two different characters of mine. I wanted to make her similar to Violet, but not by any means identical. I find that people tend to make the best friends with people who have similar interests, but opposing personalities. I also wanted to use a different color pallet for Wakanda, making her more an autumn (deep browns, earthy colors), Violet being a summer/winter (high-contrast, monochromatic, cold, ect.). I’m also sort of using this as a color tester for my room, as we’re moving (for the last time in a LONG time, Thank God) and I FINALLY get to paint my room !!! So this is an example of what I’d like it to look like. A took an mental image of Violet’s room from the video game “When Danger Calls” and merged it with my current room, splashed on some brighter color, and wallah! There you have it ! And, because of that, there are actually a lot of objects here that you can find in my room . But I’m not telling which ones! This was a lot of fun to do, I must say. And that’ coming from a girl who don’t like in the least doing backgrounds . I think I just enjoyed using my colored markers again. And, yes, Violet DOES have an Incredibles poster IN HER ROOM. Cut me some slack! I couldn’t think of anything else to put there!!! Oh, and yeah, “Howl City” poster LOL. I love owl city <3 .

Another Muro. Nobody’s perfect, but you do mean a lot to someone, even if that only someone is God . I’ve been listening to this a lot lately. It’s very true. I really wanted to do this picture. And, yes, it’s in pink . Only to pay homage to the song artist! I’m not much a fan of the color (okay, so it depends…).
