Violets Hair

I’m sure Edna Mode has connections!

Oh dear. I don’t even like to think about that one :open_mouth:
So maybe Violet had brown hair as a baby, and it turned dark. That happens right? Or Helen’s parents have black hair.

Hang on. I had the genetics of it worked through, but now I can’t remember!!

Okay, that I posted 2 pages back. Is that good enough?

That’s cool for tracking that back IV. It makes sense.

Thanks. I remember whenever I actually made the chart, it took me like 10 minutes. :open_mouth: In reality it was a huge waste of time, but now at least my mind is at peace on the issue. 8D

It wasn’t a waste IV. It provided a thoughtful insight about the possibilities of VIolet’s hair.

Thanks.

You’re welcome IV.

Im still going with something with the genes.

I think we’re thinking too hard about this. It doesn’t seem unusual for a brunette and a blond to have a black haired child. I also think it was meant to fit her personality. I think it’s her natural hair color.

I don’t think Bob and Helen would let her dye her hair. Even if she did do it without their permission, maybe they wouldn’t let her do it again, which she would have to do keep her roots from showing. Instead of letting her keep dying it and dying it, I have a feeling that they would make her dye it back to her natural color.

Overall, I think it’s combination of genetics and the creators of the movie picking it to fit her personality.

Besides, someone said earlier that in a deleted scene, she was a baby and had black hair. I think that’s enough proof that we are thinking too hard about this.

I agree entirely. everything you said is true. And I remember that deleted scene now!! We win.

Yep, that prooves it.

I remember that scene also. it was the alternate opening, when baby Violet was invisible, and when she reappeared, she had black hair.

I want to see that!

Its in the second disc of the Incredibles DVD EJE.

I don’t have The Incredibles DVD so I can’t see it. But we all agree it’s her personality ans genes.

Oh, alright. I don’t have the DVD, but I’ll get ahold of it somehow.

What edition is it?

The original 2-disc collector’s edition has it for sure. I would assume the blu ray has it, but I guess not.

The blu-ray version has it too. But you go to the second disc of the DVD, go to deleted scenes, and it’s right at the end where you’ll see baby VIolet and her dark hair.
