I don’t have a Blu-ray so I need the DVD version.
Do you have the DVD version Pixarfan91?
No.
Ouch. I wonder if the deleted scenes are on youtube.
I just looked it up, couldn’t find it…
Hmmm, let’s see if I can find a screencap of baby Violet.
Hope you can.
It was always my third favorite deleted scene. My favorite is Helen confronts Bob, followed by Helen’s Nightmare.
TSS: Please do!
I need to see all of these deleted scenes…
So would she be blonde if she was born how she was at the end of the movie?
Okay EJE, I’ll try to find one for you as soon as possible. Otherwise, I’ll just have to capture the screencap myself.
Alright, much thanks!
Okay, not talking about the color for once. Does anybody think Violet would ever wear her hair short? (I’m sure the simulator guys would be very happy .)
Maybe. Personally, I think it suits her long, though. In my head it looks weird short. Probably because I’ve known it as long for so long, and I dislike short girl hair.
That would be interesting. What if she dyed it a diffrent color like blonds.
I have seen fan works of Vi with shorter hair, but give Brad Bird credit for sticking with the long hair because it acts more of a curtain for her face.
I can see her as a young adult with short hair.
I agree with you guys. I don’t think it would look the same short, not that it would look bad, though. I like her long hair, but it would be interesting, to say the least, if she cut it. I think when she’s older she might cut it. But I think she’d let it get longer first, like almost to her butt, then she might cut it. Or maybe she’d be like her Mom, and when she grows up and has kids of her own she’ll cut it.
And in response to Pixarfan91, personally, I’d be very mad at her if she dyed her entire head another color. She’s got beautiful hair! I mean, if a person really wants to dye their hair and they really like the idea, then that’s great. I wanna dye mine black. But her hair’s beautiful the way it is. And everybody and their brother’s got dyed blond hair. Nothing wrong with dying it blond, I just prefer things that are different. I also don’t think she’d dye it because that would draw a lot of attention. And if anyone knows Violet, they know that she doesn’t want that. But I could see her getting some purple or blue in her hair. Maybe when she goes through more a stage of experimental rebelliousness.
I love VIolet with long hair, but if she does decide to cut it, she’l still look beautiful.
Ok, I’ll get spooky/personal. I prefer her long hair. I like to think of it as imprinting, as the majority of women in my family are Chinese with long, black hair. And even in the making-of materials,it looks like they did reference some Asian members of the staff to work out the hair dynamics.
