I agree. Somehow it just seems wrong that she dies her hair. And it is kinda weird that, not only Violet, but the whole family has powers similar to the Fantastic Four 
. I wonder if that was intentional.
haha yeah! well they do call the FF the ‘First Family of the Future Foundation.’ In many comics I believe they are referred to as a family, even Ben and Alicia.
You have a good point maybe she is adopted. 
To me Violet simply wouldn’t look right without long dark hair. I’m sure that she would be super pretty with mostly anything, but I think a lot of her appear is just based on the fact of how she looks. I’m not saying that I only like her appearance, but I’m sure its a large part of her. Especially at the start of the movie.

It definatly wouldnt look right with her having different hair.

I love Violet with black hair. i’ve tried imagining Vi with another hair color, but I always see you as a different character with the change.

Thanks. it’s like at one moment, I see Violet with gray hair, and it made me think of her as an old lady instead of a shy teenager.
Yeah. The Pixar guys obviously knew it was symbolic for her to have dark hair. She had to have it.

I just can’t picture her with any other color. It’s unnatural, even sinful in my eyes. 
Can we all just say that the Pixar character with the best hair is Princess Merida, hands down??
