Votre Critique de Ratatouille

I’m pleased you enjoyed the film so much, Maggie! Ratatouille really does seem to be touching so many people, and that’s the sign of a truly great film.

Mitch - Thank you!

Ohh, you bet I do… <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Sems like you enjoyed it Maggie. Now all of that waiting to watch it wasn’t so bad right? :stuck_out_tongue:

TSS - I didn’t just enjoyed it, I loved it! Now that reminded me of Anton Ego…
[spoil]I don’t like food, I love it.[/spoil]

Maggie - You’re welcome!

I’m gonna see the film again myself either this Saturday or the following Sunday. It’s been approxiamately one whole week since I last saw it! The tension is killing me! (snigger) :stuck_out_tongue:

You can say that again Maggie!

I’m seeing it this weekend too, Mitch. I can’t wait to relive the experience of Lifted, Wall.E trailer, and Ratatouille. Hopefully you’ll get to see it again, too.

Glad you enjoyed it, Maggie. I agree with all of the points that you made. I’m glad it made you so happy. You and Mitch now have a very common interest in Ratatouille, it seems. Heh. (I hope to join you with that, after I see it again).

Wow. Good point.

It’d bloody well better be, after all this!

rachel - Cool! That makes two of us, dude. 'Tis kinda weird: We’ll be seeing it at the same time. :stuck_out_tongue: (snigger)

lizardgirl - It’s bloddy brilliant, chum.

Glad you liked my review, rachel!

Hehe, you can say that again! :stuck_out_tongue:

lizardgirl - ^ What Mitch said. ;-p It’ll be more than worth it!

Mitch - Well, I am seeing it 10am Sunday, so you can work out the exact time difference if you want. ;-p Heh. And, I was lucky enough to score 2 x family passes to the preview screening so I convinced (begged) my whole family to go. I just know they’ll have a good time!

lizardgirl - I think you’ll very much like it, if not, then you’ll LOVE it!

rachel - Aw man! I’m going to see the film sometime on Saturday afternoon, so I guess we won’t be seeing it on the same day (or at the same time, for that matter). (snigger)

Oh well. Have fun, in any case!

Mitch - Actually, we might… LINK

rachel - Hey, wow. Look at that! I stand corrected. Heheh.

Mitch - Awesome. Awesome to the max. :sunglasses:

Well I just got back from seeing Ratatouille for the second time… And I have some good news to share!

I enjoyed it immensely. I loved it so much, and was in awe of its greatness. Everything about this movie is either close to perfect, or the epitome of perfection. The story about going for your dreams, having courage in yourself, and trusting others, was very inspirational, and I was on the verge of tears. It was just what I needed at this time in my life right now.

In case you didn’t know, the first time I saw this movie I was a bit overwhelmed to say the least, so was a bit unsure of how I felt about it. Having the chance to view Ratatouille a second time, was good because it gave the anticipation and excitement about actually seeing the movie time to fade away, revealing the wonderful story underneath. So yeah, not much more to say than that, and I can’t wait to see it again!

And, I guess I am now part of the unofficial “Pixar Planet Ratatouille Lovers Club”! Heh.

Au revior!

rachel - Yay! Well, welcome to the club, rachel. Heheh.

Wasn’t it just wonderful? I still can’t get over the brilliance of it. Simply beautiful and perfectly magnifique: that’s what it is…

I went to Disneyland a couple of days ago and saw the film for the twenty-second time. Beautiful… <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

Mitch - Heheh. Yeah. It was so touching. I felt like crying at the end. But didn’t want to because my family was around. It really touched my spirit, and the metaphors (there were many) made the movie seem like it was saying something directly to me. It is such a beautiful movie, in many ways. I really can’t explain it, since I’m not as good with words, but you understand.

Cool! You got to see it at Disneyland? Lucky! Did you get anything different out of the film this time? Moreso, did it inspire you in the same way as the first time you saw it?

You saw it for time number 22? Where did you go see that?

rachel - Oh yes, my thoughts exactly. And yep – I know exactly what you mean.

As for the Disneyland viewing, I tend to (visually) notice something different every time I watch a Pixar feature film, but I have never been able to watch one of the studios’ productions and receive a different and unique message from it every…single…time I watch it until now. It’s actually quite incredible, endearing, and interesting… And yep, I am inspired by the sheer brilliance of the film and by the message it emits ever so delicately. I absolutely love it… <img src=“{SMILIES_PATH}/love2.gif” alt=“:loves:” title="In

The Star Swordsman - As was previously stated, I saw the film for the twenty-second time in the Disneyland lot/park.
