This is more just for those living in the general Los Angeles area, but be on the lookout for a nice full-color 4-page foldout advertising Wall-E coming to the El Capitan in your mail over the next few days if you get those mailings. I just got one today and it’s pretty nice (I’m going to save it) so be on the lookout for it.
Wall-E will be showing at the El Capitan from June 27-Aug 27th, and there will be a stage show (“Disney’s Flights of Fantasy Stage Show”) before each movie. Admission is $16 for adults ($26 for VIP seating) for the stage show and movie. www.elcapitantickets.com
(The El Capitan is a restored theatre in Hollywood, with a historic organ from the silent-film era that often gets played before shows as patrons walk to their seats. The theatre is owned by Disney, and they premiere a lot of their films there. A few times a year before important Disney movies open, they’ll send out mailers).
