Wall-E Gets an Award

Well today I think WALL-E won its very First Award. It won the “Best Family Film of the Year” in the National Movie Awards, which took place in London, UK. It beat the likes of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, The Golden Compass and Kung Fu Panda.

Pixar also Bagged another Award as it was received the “Special Recognition Award” for all the work they have produced over the years. The award was presented to the Producer of WALL-E Jim Morris by none other than Samuel Jackson and was seen as an Thank You for entertaining us by the British Public. Jim Morris also stated that

Pixar and WALL-E bagged the most awards of the night or day with two awards.

So, what’s new?

Looks like Pixar made done it again. What a surprise. :unamused: Congratulations, Pixar, on making WALL-E, yet, another successful film remaining as appealing to the British audience as ever.

Now the only difference it will make is that how many more awards will it win than the previous ‘award cow,’ “Ratatouille?”

I’m sure WALL-E will receive the same amount of nominations Ratatouille got, but will it be able to pick up 2 Academy Awards. Maybe, only time will tell. I’m sure that Toy Story 3 will definitely receive much more awards that Ratatouille.

Sweeet Pixar

Win the world…okay maybe not but please do well at the emmy’s

Win all the best animation and family awards possible

Sounds like UK’s National Movie Awards’ Best Family Film was indeed the first award given to Pixar for WALL-E, but not the first nomination unfortunately. It still has the whole awards season to go, and I’m sure it’ll do fantastic.
Congratulations, Andrew Stanton and everyone at Pixar!
Al-Bob- I think you mean the Oscars (aka Academy Awards).

Congrats Pixar! Why am I not surprised?

A giant congrats to WALL-E and everyone at Pixar who made it possible.

Of course it’s unsurprising, but it’s cool all the same. The more people saying that Pixar are amazing, the better, if you ask me! Thanks for telling us all about it, azzstar, and congratulations to Pixar. I’m sure this will be the first award of many for WALL-E.

Pixar did it again !
