There were nominations within the past 24 hours, supposedly, from the main movie Directors group. Of main interest would be who they picked for Director. Anyone know about this? Trying to find a link now…
Ok, it was for the Director’s Guild of America and Stanton did not get a nom. They say that 54 of the past 60 winners have gone on to win the director’s award at the Academy, so Stanton just doesn’t have any chance at that award.
Also, I read that Stanton isn’t a member of that guild, so he couldn’t be nominated…
