Lemme tell ya, I’ve been an avid reader of Foxtrot for a while and it really got me excited to know that Jason likes WALL-E! It’s unfortunate that Foxtrot is now limited to Sunday comics, though.
I love Bill Amend and Fox Trot. It’s great stuff, and like you said, he’s very tuned in to geek culture. But this comic was only alright imo, still nice for the reference.

That’s awesome! I’m surprised it would be in a comic, but it’s great non-the-less. 
Although, now I’m on the look out for it. I can’t seem to find the coloured comics in my local newspaper, which is where Fox Trot would be… I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find it! I think I’m missing one of the newspapers… I so want that comic now.

Well that’s awesome! Truthfully, I’m not a huge Fox Trot fan, so I had no idea! I still read the comics, just not often.
And I can’t find our sunday paper. Apparently we didn’t get it… And my mom isn’t even sure they PUT the coloured comics (aka, with Fox Trot) in the newspapers anymore.
