WALL-E: Issue #1 Discussion

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN WALL-E YET!

It’s once again time for a new issue of BOOM’s WALL-E comic, Issue #1 (They started at issue #0, which was great BTW) and once again, Comic Book Resources has posted the first few pages!

The art looks even better than the first issue. No points on this forum for getting the reference to another movie made in it. X)

It comes out Wednesday! (The 23rd) Support WALL-E and your local comic book store by grabbing a copy if you can!

Alas, I’d love that Special Edition Christmassy cover, but those tend to be more expensive and I have exactly the 3 bucks I need for a normal issue. Oh well. They’ll put all the cover art in the compilation when it comes out anyway. xD;

Oh I see the difference too. Very happy with it. Thanks for the heads up. I look forward to picking this up!

…WOW guys. I just picked this up today and I am loving this series. This volume is even better that the last one. The art is beautiful and the writing is just so spot on with the movie.

Seriously guys, if you love this movie and have the 3 bucks to spare, support this publication and get a copy of this. Or wait for the 4 volume trade paperbacks. Whatever. Either way, this is one of the best movie-based comics I’ve ever seen. :smiley:

wow, the cover alone makes me want to buy it!

Urgh, I can’t think of anywhere local that I could buy these! :frowning: Our town is so stupid and small, I wouldn’t know where to get a few copies, and I WANT it! It seriously looks amazing. <3

I’m sure I could scrounge up 10 bucks or so… ^^;

This really looks cool! I looked it up on Amazon, I found the first issue (#0) but I can’t find this new one. Either way, i really want it! I’m going to have to find a way to get a copy, this really looks like something that I want! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve gotten both issues (Cover A editions) and have enjoyed them both. It’s definitely something just for the fans, not for any one new to the series, but that’s okay. I love seeing how WALL-E collected his treasures and Easter Eggs to other Pixar films. I too wish I could’ve gotten the Cover B edition, but 6 bucks + 5 bucks shipping from the site I order from (Graham Cracker Comics, by the way, an excellent site to order comics online) just was too pricey. Hopefully a compilation edition (or “Graphic Novel” version) does indeed come out with all the covers. That would be awesome.
