Did anyone else see a trailer for The Pink Panther 2 before Wall-e? Because I did, and the way that one guy in the trailer says “WALL-E” scared me a bit. (and it still does)

Yeah, that and got people laughing. We had quite a giggly (and wonderful) audience.
At the theater I saw it at, the trailers were: brief promo for Pink Panther 2( Clouseau wishes to by a ticket to see WALL-E ), Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Meet Dave, and Bolt.
From what I have seen so far, Chihuahua has no plot whatsoever.
that Chihuahua movie looks so dumb >.< u can tell they were desperate for a movie

oh, i loved the movie! ^.^ i think it’s soooo cute, EVE is just so awesome, and i love how WALL-E calls her ‘EVAAAA’ ^.^ i seen the movie 5 times already, and i made an ‘EVE’ shirt to wear when i go see it ^.^

Ehh, not quite vomit. I mean, it’s low quality (reminds me a bit of early VeggieTales in terms of look), and the story is kind of bleh, but I don’t think it’s that horrible.
It’s not the way it looks that bothers me, it’s the way they move. If the look and story was the same but the characters movied in a more alive/fluid manner I’d think it was fine. If it was a show on tv it’d be alright, but for a movie I’d expect better. But yeah, I was Hyperboling for humors sake. 
…That’s slated for theatrical release? Are you serious? Looks like footage from the original Sims games. XD
It is mostly due to reading this thread that I felt it necessary to register to state my opinion.
WALL-E has instantly found its way to the top of my favorite movies list, if for no other reason that I can’t get it out of my head. From sound design to music, character design to plot, I absolutely adore this movie. If anyone’s interested, I can post a link to (or quote) a more extensive review I’ve done on the film.
Fly Me to the Moon and Space Chimps are the kind of movies that are killing the 3D cartoon genre. As much as Pixar tries to resuscitate it, there’s always Dreamworks or Warner Bros. there to stab it through the heart again.
I agree. No mater what Pixar film comes next, 1 year, 5 years, 10 years, unlike other animation companies, you can count on Pixar to deliever it with quality.
In terms of look and animation Dreamworks is not too far behind Pixar, just there stories and the way they are told are no where near Pixar.
Yeah, you got a point there. The quality I am talking about is the overall quality of the film, going beyond the animation.
I think that character design is a big part as well.
Remember the film “Robots” by Fox? Compare the design of their robots, which make absolutely no functional sense, to WALL-E’s robots, where everything began from a functional standpoint. Not to mention that Robots’ story, and concept, was dull and uninspired.
I liked Robots. I didn’t love it, but it was a fun flick to me.
The characters designs though. Yeah. Actually, that is one of the things that pulled me into WALL-E.
You see, when I first saw the teaser and heard a little bit about the plot being a love story (at the time it was just rumor) I started getting some weird ideas about EVE’s character design. I imagined her much more humanoid and stuff, and the whole thing to be much more comedic and less a seriously touching love story. This is exactly why I never judge a PIXAR film by it’s teaser, because I’m always WRONG. XD Then I saw the theatrical trailer, and EVE’s character design, and suddenly, the movie looked like the coolest thing ever.
EVE is definitely my favorite character in the movie, and this is coming from a guy who has a sort of vendetta against Apple. She’s absolutely downright gorgeous and completely genius in design, particularly in her functional simplicity.
All the movie is beautiful, but she stands out in my heart.
