No the teaser trailer did not leak out or anything, but I just thought that we could talk about what
you think the trailer is going to be about.
We all know that the WALL? E
teaser trailer will come June 29, 2007 with Ratatouille and
Lifted and probably on the Ratatouille video game on
June 26, 2007.
So what do you think the teaser trailer will be about?
Maybe just a shot up in space, then some dialouge, a long
shot of the robots, then end with the title.

Woah – you
scared me there for a second, JV ! I thought that the teaser had actually…
My prediction is basically the same as The Star Swordsman ’s, actually. A
long…drawn out view of the universe; the camera then pans down to earth; we zoom in on earth very
slowly…until a bunch of miniscule little robots come into sight.
Either that, or we just see the
landscape of Earth from WALL-E ’s point of view…with a glimpse of a ship decending
in the foreground and his (WALL-E ’s) curiosity over it…
But we’ll just
have to wait and see, won’t we?
Or, like they did in the last
three teasers, introduce to us the main characters in a little intro.
Gosh, wow,
you scared me!!!
Because Wall-E is a Dialogue-Free film, you wouldn’t have any of the characters
talking, or then everybody would have the wrong idea of the movie. But I think it’ll be kinda hard to do that,
so maybe some sort of voice-over…like the Chicken Little teaser. In fact, now that
I think about it, this film’s plot is pretty similar to CL, so it could possibly have some of the "He saw
the signs…he tried to warn us…".
…I don’t know, it’s just one more reason to look forward to
Ratatouille !
Add me to the list of people that you fooled.
With the exception of Ratatouille , none of Pixar’s teaser trailers have
hinted at the plot and theme of the respective movies that they represented. If they want to hint at the plot,
just as they did for the Ratatouille teaser, then I imagine the
WALL-E teaser showing the robot traversing the Earth’s surface and cleaning. If
not, then the teaser will probably just consist of different angles and views of a trash-filled Earth, and then
show the robot at the very end.
It also depends on the impression that the people over at Pixar want to
give the audience regarding the film. If they really want to strike a heartfelt tone with this flick, then what I
just described in the previous paragraph will probably work. However, if they want to strike a more comedic tone,
which is the category to which the previous Pixar teasers belong, then they’ll probably do something a little
different.

You can add me to that list…
cough
Anyway, I think that it will just show Wall.E by himself picking up trash. Then he finds some
clues that he may not be the only robot on earth. Then he comes into contact with the other, female
Wall.E.
I don’t think there will be much dialogue in the teaser, and I think it will be stark contrast to
the high-energy Ratatouille teaser. And I hope they do some cool space shots!
well, Pixar teasers usually introduce us to at least two of the main characters of a film,
as well as give you a sample of the over-all tone.
Perhaps, to show a heartfelt, funny, and
slightly sad tone, they could show Wall-E “cleaning” himself, going through the motions one
usually goes through when going on a “first date”. He might leave his home with confidence , only
for him to fall into a ditch filled with trash…
or something…

I believe we will see a long shot of the Earth, and see WALL-E cleaning up garbage. They’ll
will have to explain some of the plot to people, maybe with a few graphics, like the previous teaser
trailers.

Mitch - LOL I
thought I’d get someone.
Haha – that’s an understatement.
Googly-Bear - Heheh – cool. I like your idea!
Could the teaser be
released earlier? Or do we have to wait for Ratatouille for it?
TSS - The
teaser trailer will most likely come out with the Ratatouille video game a few days before Ratatouille hits
theaters.

Or it could leak on the Internet a couple
of days before Ratatouille hits theaters.
Bill: Oh I hope so. NOt that i am not patient enough in
waiting, but I am just really anxious right now.
^ me and you both Star Swordsman, I’m really looking forward to this. (as I do to all pixar movies)
I think that’s what they’d want you to think ( ike the trailer could show space then earth; but that sounds way to ovious, it’s how most movies in space start out, and it’s normally how the trailetr of a space movie would start out) I’d be wiling to bet alot of money the trailer and the movie isnt going to be anything were expecting it to be, especially since all we’ve seen is a couple of pics. Andre Stanton is gonna hit this one outta the ball park.

I agree with Gasduude on this. Taking into consideration Mr. Stanton’s “style” of conjuring up trailers, the one for WALL-E may surprise us with a little heartfelt humor in it. However, you never know.
