DocKenobi: I’ll pray for them.
I’ll join in in prayer for him, too. I hope he’s okay…
Thanks everyone, still no word on how he’s doing.
Hey everyone, I just found out that they operated on him today, and he is doing well. Thanks so much to everyone for praying fo him!
Hey guys, I’d appreciate some prayer…I’m just not doing to well right now…I don’t want to get too personal, though. Thanks.
That’s okay…i’ll be praying for ya.
I’d like to add a prayer request…the economy here’s not doing so well…now many teachers and other people including my school principal and perhaps some of my own teachers may be getting fired just because of the bad economy. So, it would mean a lot not just to me but to many if you guys could also pray for them.
It is happening to schools everywhere BDD. Not only i will pray for your school, but everyone else’s too.[/img]
I just found out a family friend passed away this morning, so if you all could pray for her and her family, it would mean alot. Thanks.
I’m so sorry to hear that DocKenobi. I’ll pray for you.
I too am sorry to hear that. I’ll keep her and her family and friends in my prayers.
I am very sorry to hear that…the loss of a close family friend is a very deep loss. I just prayed for her and her family and friends, and will continue to keep her in my prayers.
i will be praying for you DocKenobi…
Thank you to everyone.
Hey, I’ve got another inspirational story about prayer! This one is a true story.
Okay, I don’t have all the details, because I was told this not too recently, and I didn’t take notes, but I’ve got the main story.
There’s this pastor at my church who told us this. When he was new to America, he wanted to take a plane ride to his new home (or if it was a vacation and to this hotel, I forget), but because he and his wife had a baby, they decided to drive there. It was late at night, and he was still driving, and his wife was sleeping in the car. He then thought he had found a shortcut, and decided to take it. He then noticed that his gasoline was running out. But he didn’t worry about it. Like I said, he was new to America, and for some reason he expected there to be more gas stations down the road anyway. Little did he know at that time, however, that he had made two mistakes. One- the “shortcut” wasn’t going to take him to where he wanted to go at all. It was a road up a mountain. And there was no turning back. Two-there weren’t any gas stations furthur down the road. And the gas began to run out. Then he was stuck.
By then, his wife woke up. He told her the bad news. They were stuck. They didn’t know what to do. They started praying.
And here’s the miracle. Ready…?
The gasoline meter started to rise up by a quarter.
They used that quarter to drive a short distance. Then they were out again.
They prayed again.
And it happened again.
And so on. For four hours or more.
So, they had driven at least four hours, driving a long way, on so little gasoline.
That, my friends, is the power of prayer, and patience.
(How they solved the wrong route problem is a different story, which I unfortunatly forgot!)
Can you guys pray for this guy: mfgg.taloncrossing.com/index.php … pic=235474
He’s a fellow member at another forum I go to. If things don’t clear up soon for him and everyone else who lives in the area he lives. Him and everyone else will have a flood on his hands by the end of the week.
I’ll be praying for him nightwheel…those people are having quite a year with flooding. Hopefully the waters recide and we won’t have to get serious about evacuations or emergency operations.
I pray that these people may be save and that even if it means a flood that they see God’s handywork in it all…
I don’t know who to pray for
Pray for all of us…we could all use the extra aid. Plus its always nice to know that someone out there really cares enough to at least pray. Its kinda nice…
yeah
