Disney World’s gonna have a new resort, expected to open in phases, near the end of 2012. Called Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, they will apparently be using the building near Pop Century that was going to be part of that resort. From what’s described it will have themed sections, including Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, Cars, & Lion King. Here’s a link:

I’m really excited about this! 
It’s nice to see that Disney is still building and expanding on not only the parks themselves, but the RESORT. I just hope that there will be more Disney Animation influence than just those 4 movies, like in the lobby and stuff

Hmm… Disney is constantly expanding on the resort, I’m not sure what you mean. Bay Lake Tower just opened at the Contemporary, as well as Kadani Village (where I call home) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
But I do agree with you that this is very exciting!!!

The only thing I can say against it is that it seems an awful lot like the already existing All Star Movies. Although I’m well aware there’s not much known about this new resort yet. I’m sure there must be something distinctly different about it. I’m interested to see whether any actual ‘animation art’ comes into play.
I can see how this resort does seem very much like All-Star Movies. I’m sure there will be something unique to this one, perhaps like the Animator’s Palate resteraunt on the cruise line?
I always know the latest buzz related to Disneyland, but never Disney World. So this was interesting to read! If I ever make it to Disney World, this new resort will probably be ond of my favorite spots, because I love all four of those movies!
