This is something I’ve been thinking about for quite a while now. What actors would you like to see in a Tim Burton film that haven’t been already?
I have three so far:
- Crispin Glover
- Anthony Hopkins
- Jim Carrey
Edward Scissorhands, never seen it, but I have seen Nightmare before Christmas and Charlie and the Chocolate factory. My list:
- Arnold Schwarzenegger
- Chuck Norris (Yay)
- Robert Patrick (That police officer in my sig is Robert Patrick)
- Edward Furlong (That guy in my avvy)

As for me, i’m not sure. I think the people who Tim normally casts are perfect for his films, and I honestly can’t think of anyone better to play the characters.
A lot of peolple think it’s annoying that he casts Johnny Depp a lot of times, but like I said, I think he’s perfect for just about any part, really. He’s so versitle 
Well, now that Tim is doing Alice in Wonderland, I would love to see him cast Dakota Fanning as Alice. Lke her role in Cat in the Hat, but with a bit more personality. She might be a bit to old to play that part, though.

Oh boy, I really don’t know! I would be excited to see any actor in one of his movies.

I’ve been on a Tim Burton spree lately and you know, I already like the people he casts for his films. I find that 99% of them are perfect for the part.
To be honest… I would love to see more (yes, more!) of Johnny Depp and a return of Winona Ryder. Johnny Depp is simply perfect and I think Winona Ryder is such an unpredictable actress. Plus, I am in love with Edward Scissorhands.

I agree on Winona Ryder making a return. She hasn’t been cast in one of his fims since Edward Scissorhands .
Bill - I guess suggestions really do bring out the sarcasm in people… 
Seriously, though, that was funny. Even if you wouldn’t be up for a live action role I still wouldn’t mind seeing you tackle it. Then again, voice-over work is fine, as well.

I personally would love to see Miranda Richardson in a Tim Burton film. She was excellent as Queen Mab and the Queen of Hearts- I would love to see her work her magic in one of his films.
Also, Adrien Brody. But maybe that’s just because I want to see him in more films, period.
Miranda Richardson was already in one of Tim’s movies (Sleepy Hollow) , but I’d love to see her again. I’d like to see Alan Rickman collaborate with Tim again, as well as seeing Ralph Fiennes in one of his films.
Bill: Ah. sorry about that. I haven’t seen Sleepy Hollow and I forgot she was in it. Well, now there’s one more reason to see it ASAP.
How about Harrison Ford in one’s of Tim’s movies?
I also think that Thomas Haden Church would be good as well. I loved his performace as Flint Marko/Sandman in Spider-Man 3 .
