Ok, I’m not gonna lie, Leona Lewis’ new CD “Echo” is currently on repeat for me. Something about the way she sings those songs really captivates me. It’s awesome.

This song is loaded with awesome. It’s the theme song of ‘Beavis & Butthead Do America’, one of my favourite quintessential 90s flick. Haha, I remember watching the opening sequence repeatedly as a kid (I didn’t get the Starsky & Hutch reference) and singing to the chorus line. The opening synthesizer beats… the wah-wah guitar, the hi-hats, sultry female back-up singers, and the gravelly voice of Issac Hayes (from Shaft and South park, rest his soul)… all scream retro grooviness.
