I’ve broken down and put on the Christmas Music! =D
Dash - The radio station I listen to (99.1 WMYX) has a tradition of playing Christmas music every year around this time, and they started two days ago! I love it, really gets you into the Christmas spirit, you know? People are saying " It’s not Thanksgiving yet " , but Thanksgiving is a time for giving thanks , and there is no written law that states that you can’t play Christmas music. I’m going to start putting down all the greats, starting with:
Bing Crosby - It’s Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Hey - if God didn’t want us to listen ti Christmas music before Thanksgiving then he would’ve made Thanksgiving songs! And I mean more than just the 5 or so I know.
As far as I’m concerned There is a “Holiday Season” that includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. It starts the day after Halloween (on my Birthday =D) and lasts until the last Christmas decoration has been taken down (a process that can’t be started unti the day after New Years). So Christmas music is legal any time in that season. =D
“Runaway Train” by Soul Asylum
Bing Crosby - White Christmas
10 Years - “Waking Up”
But that’s nearly as bad as this Christmas shop that just opened up in town that sells nothing but Christmas wrapping paper and tinsel! It’s November, not December! Noes!I don’t know how you can listen to Christmas music at this time of year! ![]()
opens up i-Tunes and looks at Christmas playlist
Well - I also have 495 songs totaling 1day, 2 hours, 45 minutes, and 50 seconds f consecutive listening. So, needless to say, I have plenty to go through before I even hear repeats so I almost need that time to fully enjoy my music.
“Run” by Snow Patrol
I dunno about god, but Adam Sandler made a thanksgiving song … don’t think it counts though … I just recall it was something about turkey. ![]()
Paul McCartney - Christmas Time
Destination Nowhere, Erika.
