You’d be surprised to know it’s from one of the most beautiful and touching scenes in the movie… You should really watch KFP if you get the chance, the soundtrack is incredible and a great tribute to Chinese culture. Or as Po would say it, “Prepare for awesomeness!”
…
Numb/Encore - Linkin Park, Jay Z, Eminem, Dr Dre, 50 Cent
In this member’s opinion, the greatest mash-up song of all-time. I don’t know who did it, or even if it’s official, but it’s just spectacular rhyming and synching and just phenomenal all-round rap. Some choice lyrics:
“Time’s up, game over, you lose I win, 'bout to show these knuckleheads how to do it here!”
“You walk around mad, you let your anger blind you. We walk around just playin’ the violin behind you.”
“But critics say that Doc is soft, Doc is talk, Doc is all washed up, knock it off, who the @#$% is Doc impressin’?”
Beyond the tough-guy lines and occasional coarse language, this the finest example of artist collaboration I can think of. Worth a listen, if to hear these lyrical masters motor-mouth at a hundred words a second.
OMG! I know… That song always makes me feel sad, too…
You’re not the only one who thinks so too, dude! Although, I have heard a few better mash-ups, I still love that mash-up, too.
