What are your plans for the premier?

Are you gonna bring your favorite Woody or Buzz doll?

Watch both movies before the show?

I’m gonna wear a “Sid Shirt” to the premier since I haven’t had any toys from the series since 1996 xD

I’m going by myself, and I’m bringing my TSC Lotso with me. With him on my lap, and a box of tissues to my left, I believe I’ll be good.

For Friday, I don’t really have any big plans save for probably wearing a Toy Story shirt when I go.

I’m going to be meeting some of my friends from school to see it again later, though, and TSC Woody might make the trip that time.

I have a t-shirt with the Toy Story aliens which I’m planning on wearing.

Even though my show starts at 6:30 pm, me and a lot of my friends who are going are arriving at 4:00 or earlier to be the first in line. To make the waiting a lot less worse for them, I’m planning on bringing in my miniature projector with both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on my iPod, and a iPod video composite cable. I’ll be screening both films as a Toy Story: CRAM Session, for those who haven’t seen 1 or 2 in a long time.

Well, I’m not going opening day, but I’m planning to wear Toy Story colors.

First, I gotta go to Hot Topic or somewhere to find a Toy Story 3 t-shirt.

Then imma be there at midnight on June 18th, with my collection of miniature Toy Story figures from the ages in the same bag as I sneak my drink in.

Wait, since when did they start selling Toy Story merchandise at Hot Topic?

I have no idea if they do, but they usually have shirts of some of the more popular movies that have a cult following like Transformers, Twilight, Where the Wild Things are, etc. Usually it’s just the poster on the front, and the release date on the back. Simple, but it’ll do.

No idea, but they probably do, considering how popular Toy Story is!

Now that you mention it, I don’t really know what I’m going to bring. My first Buzz and Woody are so beat up that I wouldn’t risk bringing them in public, and my Toy Story shirts haven’t fit me since I was like 7 (no joke, I had about 20). I do remember that I brought a Buzz Lightyear drink container to Toy Story 2 in theaters, maybe I can find that.

Since I keep missing all of the Toy Story and Toy Story 2 screenings, I guess I’m just going to have to settle with watching the VHS’s before. Oh well, more nostalgic, I guess (yet terrible quality).

I will be watching Toy Story on Blu-Ray tomorrow and Toy Story 2 on Blu-Ray Thursday.

I guess I’l do like Tyler1995 and watch Toy story 1 & 2 on blu ray before I watch the third.

I’m gonna watch 1 and 2 tomorrow, I’ve got two finals to study for on Thursday night. Since I have school and I’m 14, I can’t go to the midnight show, so I’m going first thing after school with my two best friends. Nothing else beyond that really.

I’m seeing it on June 7th with about 8 of my close friends in a drvie-in theater. I’m just going to bring a box of tissues, because I can guarantee that I will be crying at some point in this film. I might also bring a blanket becuase I’ll probably will be watching from the open trunk like I did with Wall*E last year, so that will ensure I won’t get cold.

You are so lucky Within A Nutshell! I would love to see a film at a drive in theater!

I am seeing it Friday at 6:45 P.M. the (first showing in my city) taking time to watch both movies that day (Because I don’t have to go to school) and wearing my Toy Story shirt all day

I usually dress up in clothes that suit the film’s theme every time I go to the movies. No, not cosplaying, but more subtle stuff like colour-coordination and materials that suit a character or theme. Like, I wore a red checkered shirt and jeans when I went to watch the first Transformers (Optimus Prime colour scheme) and I wore a black long-sleeve over grey corduroys when I went to see Dragons for the second time (Toothless FTW!).

So for TS3, maybe a brown flannel shirt over dark blue jeans? I don’t have a ten-gallon hat or boots, but I wouldn’t wear them anyway cos I don’t want to look like a dork. xD

I’m also probably going to change my FB profile pic to a Toy Story character on its release so my friends know I’m hyped about it.

I’m debating what toys I should bring with me for the Toy Story 3 premiere. I’m going with my friends so I might be embarrassed if I bring my Buzz and Woody with me, but I will probably bring my small toys like Lenny and my BK Alien. Also, I will definitely be bringing my etch a sketch.

Oh, and safety cones. I’ll be bringing about 11 of them, to reserve my friend’s seats.

You’ve got some great ideas, guys, bringing toys and all that. I’m just going to be incredibly boring and see it the evening it’s released with some of my best friends. I’ve always gone with them to see new Pixar releases (aside from Up, unfortunately, but that was bad timing regarding our schedules) and with this one being released right in the middle of the summer holidays, I’m sure I can convince them to watch Toy Story 3 with me- especially as they seem just as excited as I am!

No dressing up or bringing of toys, though. I have a feeling that as much fun that would be for me, my friends couldn’t bear the embarrassment.

I count myself lucky I have a group of like-minded animation fans… one of them actually pointed out the TS3 poster after our Prince of Persia viewing and said he was interested, as he felt like ‘we had grown up with Andy’. And then we talked a bit, and I found out he also watched the first in cinemas as a kid.

They’re more crazy for anime than Western animation though, so I may just have to negotiate with them to catch a cheap 2D showing.
